I like him. He was excellent in Story of Kunning Palace. He's also in Scent of Time which I've only watched one…
I did, too but honestly Xie Wei was #1 for me! However, I felt drawn to all of the men during certain time frames. They all did a great job in their roles.
I've been unable to really get into anything since finishing SOKP. Eagerly waiting for season 2 to get me out of the slump! Hope it really comes in Feb.
I finished this weeks ago and just can't move on. 😪 I watched a super fluffy drama and it distracted me but just not the same feeling at all. I am eagerly waiting for LYF season 2...
It's a drama without any drama at all. So for me it's like a little happy bubble, but that won't be interesting…
I'm still watching but not crazily binging. I don't mind the music scenes, but the food and cooking scenes have become boring to me now. I just finished ep 27 last night and part of the show was him cooking over 200 pig's feet for the crew.
i'm with you on this. In fact, i actually took a long break from ep. 24 to resume watching... After the finale…
I finished 27 last night and honestly I think it would have been OK to end it there or have one more episode to tie up loose ends after his retirement. But I guess I will see what happens in 28-33. lol
I'm working my way through this. Sometimes I have to take a day or two break because every episode is similar.…
Overall I like it and it's an easy watch when you need a break after an intense drama. I don't normally watch modern dramas but came here for TJC. I would probably drop it or skip to end if it wasn't for him. I think 24 episodes would have been better or more episodes should show the second and third couples... I like them, too!
I'm working my way through this. Sometimes I have to take a day or two break because every episode is similar. I am a bit tired of the cooking scenes and the looks on her face each time when she takes the first bite. My favorite parts have been the entire trip to Guilin and the scene where her mom sees them at the hospital. 🤣 I don't mind the singing parts. in fact, I wish I could see more of the studio and how they operate. Just when I was really rolling my eyes at how perfect Dr. Mo is, I got to the part where he says he is stepping into the background. It makes sense. I don't see how this man is able to do multiple surgeries during his shifts, also work on stuff in the studio, and take care of his girlfriend. Eventually he would have to crack. However, I don't see how a role as dubbing director would be less work. Obviously he would be very popular to work with plus he would have to be available at times when the voice actor is available for consultation (or vice versa... either way, it is taking up his time).
