Why isn't Nanhua more concerned about spies after finding out that both Zhenzhu and Senior Mu are actually demons? That seems like it would be pretty serious for them since those spies were there for such a long time. Councilor was basically clutching his pearls when he saw Mu Yu state that he is a demon. Then they just show Yu Du walk around Palace Chonghua discussing how Demon Zi is still acting like a child and burning down things that can't be burned.
I'm sad that they killed off Zhenzu so quickly after revealing who she really was. Would've been nice for Demon Zi to have a familiar friend in the Demon World although it would have taken time for her to forgive her for everything.
Now it seems like Zhuo Hao's fiancee is going to be the next female pain in the @ss. I'm sure somehow she works with Ting Xue who has been suspiciously absent these last few episodes. 🙄
I'm glad CZ called out Qin Ke on his weakness and not coming to see her in the Ice Prison. Good for him admitting he is weak. I'm not a big fan of his character at this point. I dislike Zhuo Hao, too but at least he continues to follow whatever he believes in even if he comes off as crazy.

That part was really heartbreaking and honestly, I hated that Ting Xue the moment she came into the series. CZ saved her from being sold off and also defended her against Zhuo Hao's annoying advances (although I think TX liked the attention) and yet TX constantly schemes against CZ. I really hope she gets killed because I think she deserves it!
It would've made a little more sense if they showed LYF in some kind of isolated, meditative state basically locked up somewhere. But they showed him lollygagging around, lost in his thoughts.
It's really sad that due to censorship, they can't have the male lead actually kill these people who have committed…

I think he has the connection when she wears the necklace. After he puts her to sleep, he is wearing the necklace back on his wrist again like when CZ1 gave it to him. But it's crazy for him to not check in on her somehow (even through someone else going) for 3 years. Sure, he's working on that spell but they also showed him moping around throwing out the heart poison medicine. He had time to at least send someone to check.

Mu Yu... his magic weapon is the umbrella *insert Mary Poppins joke* which we saw in a quick battle when Chu Bu Fu turned into Wan Jie. I noticed that when he helped CZ2 when she slipped and twisted her ankle, he was covering her with a similar umbrella in the rain.
