The scene where she follows Yu Jian and Wen Ya and sees them going to a hotel... is that an event that actually happened? Do we know yet which scenes in the beginning are actually factual and where the two different choices lives start?

Not sure if this has been answered in any of the available episodes... I have only watched 2 eps so far and have a question.

I've only watched 2 episodes so far so I don't know what the other episodes are looking like... but the boss's picture and what I assume is some sort of bio is in in the front of the study book Ms. Ping gave her in the first episode. If she is using her imagination, it could be based simply off the picture she saw.

I watched ep1 before going to sleep last night and dreamt that I was standing next to that Wen Ya chick and Yu Jian was forced to say who was prettier. 🤣 In my dream, I was the girlfriend and he of course ended up saying me... but I could tell he thought that Wen Ya was physically more attractive. 😂

I want to watch Will Love you in Spring but waiting for more episodes to come out before starting. I'm watching Three Body now. Completely different type of drama. lol

The more I watched In Blossom, the more I liked it. I thought the cases were interesting and they all tied in together. The ending was a bit annoying but I wasn't super upset.

I will have to go down my Plan to Watch list and see what I'm in the mood for next week!

Seriously. I finished In Blossom a few nights ago because I had watched a few eps at the same time I was watching Shen Li... but it just didn't hit the same. I'm taking a little break before deciding which one to watch next.

Yes, please go check the episode. A'ze definitely seems to acknowledge someone and that's when I thought he might be the Spy. I'm glad he wasn't but I still feel something suspicious from that scene. THANK YOU for clarifying about the headmaster from the academy. That makes more sense now.


I was only thinking the Crown Prince because #2 had saved his life and messed up his hands in the process. Why would he bother to save the Crown Prince if he himself was going to take over? 🤔

Was also thinking if it was Pan Yue's dad... it could be a parallel about fathers and sons. A'Jiang's dad tried to keep him out of it by sending him to the capital and being a scholar but yet also seemed to have a loving relationship with him during his childhood years. Pan Yue's father was a jerk to him during childhood. If he was #1, that could be his way of making sure his own child stays out of the mess. If they didn't have a good relationship, Pan Yue would likely never be part of all the power grabs. So he could have done that as a way to protect him (I know it sounds stupid.. the more I think about it, never mind!).


Overall, I liked it quite a bit and the acting didn't bother me like it seems it did with others. I did think it was crazy she could learn that dance in 3 days but whatever... I mean, her face was also swapped and she survived being shoved off the cliff so that really isn't the most fantastical thing that happened. 🤣 I was much more offended by the ending of My Journey to You.

Thanks for some clarification! I do think it would benefit from more episodes. Like you said, must've ran out of money. Maybe they spent too much on clothing for the gorgeous LXY. 😍 Token #2 wasn't a huge surprise to me once his character was finally introduced, but I feel like he should've at least been mentioned earlier on for sure.

I'm also annoyed that they killed off the princess. Seems like a quick and easy way to get rid of the marriage. I think a few more episodes at the end would have been helpful. It felt a little rushed and the scenes cut off (like when the princess died - no scenes of the arrest... you saw SZ/YCW already in jail. Also, no funeral or mourning for the princess? And how did Yunchang escape that attack?)

I also felt bad for the 2nd couple. She clearly was more into him than he was into her. I think that given time, he would have loved her and moved on from YCW. But I feel he still had lingering feelings for YCW at the end just as his feelings for Xiaosheng were starting.

1. Why didn’t they ever show the Emperor? Even at the promotion ceremony at the end (which you would think is a big deal since the guy is taking over armies), it was just the Empress.

2. In the episode where Pan Yue is in the parade at the Lantern Festival, A Ze looks and acknowledges someone in the audience as the parade walks by. Who was that?

3. Who was the man that A'Jiang talked to when he was imprisoned and told him to return his body to the side of his best friend? (I binged the last several eps and people in the capital started looking similar to me so I wasn't quite sure)

4. I'm a little confused over the Yunchang part. She was the whistleblower and Jingfei was ordered to kill her. But he couldn't? Was he in love with her? He seemed like such a brutal man that it'd be weird for him to be blinded by love (especially when they skipped town - he would've known there's no escaping). Was she also in love with him or just pretended to in order to survive?

5. The #1 token... 🙄 my guess is the Crown Prince or Pan Yue's dad.

Finally finished it last night. I have some questions/thoughts.

Thank you! I wonder what it means by two Xia Guo. I guess it shows two versions of what her life could be like? Or is it maybe travel back in time to a decision and see what happens if she picked a different option?

Is there a better summary somewhere?

I'm not normally big on modern dramas, but I will check this one out!
