coming back here after the cocaine/ketamine announcement to say that you really never know when people are struggling—saw someone on another forum say that all of this probably began after Sulli and Hara both committed suicide, and tbh it makes sense since they were very close. still slightly skeptical about the timing of these findings since the SK government has been a mess lately (it seems like Hongsik is becoming more and more of a scapegoat) but i'm glad, in a way, that they were able to find this out before he potentially overdosed. still sending my prayers and support to him, bc he's going to need it now that they've technically confirmed everything <333

this whole propofol/marijuana debacle feels like if you put the B.I., Wonho and Joo Ji Hoon situations in a blender and (sans the fact that it was later revealed that Wonho's drug charges were false) my heart dropped today when i saw the article that he tested positive. it's very dangerous if used as a part of off-label, 'recreational use'—propofol and a blend of several other drugs killed Michael Jackson—and afaik you can only get it with a prescription in most countries, so the fact that they'll most likely be charging him for taking it (and there's no word on what's going to be happening to whoever gave him the green light other than the fact that their offices have been searched) is not a good look for him or for the rest of his career, despite the justice system's hypocrisy in sentencing pedophiles and SA perpetrators. hoping his career isn't entirely over, but the netizens have been out for him for some time now (since at least his military exemption iirc?), so all we can do now is send him love and support (bc between his busy schedule and various health problems this could have been the only way he saw how to cope, and if he wasn't dealing drugs then the only one he was hurting was himself.) good luck Hongsik <333
