For the revenge part no need to worry, they wont go to that direction. The writer & director have said the purpose they make the drama is just want to show how doctor life isnt as dramatic as shown in other medical dramas. The mad parents part probably just want to show how "normal" it is for doctors getting threatened by their patient & the guardian.

By the mean other resident, i assume you mean Yong Seokmin right? They are on different departments, Gyeowul is on GS department while Seokmin in NS department. GS only have Gyeowul as their resident (when GS have a lot of sub departments) while NS dont have any subdepartment so yeah all the sub department professors give her "special treatment" so she will pick their sub department to work with.

I think you need to know about this first, this drama have hospital as their background but they not focusing at doctors and the disease part only. They more focusing to the life of the doctors and the medical staffs inside the hospital. Despite that the medical part is really taken seriously but not super dramatic one like other medical dramas.
1. For this part i cant really answer because out of 4 male leads one of the ml ex wife suddenly call him up and then season 1 ended, beside that other ml met with his ex gf but yeah nothing happened because although they broke up nicely they know they arent meant for each other.
2. The only Female lead, Dr Chae Songhwa is one of the rare perfect female lead that i can find in the span of my 15 years-ish watching k-drama. Smart, independent, dependable, super nice, zuperb adorable and not to mention she's pretty. The only "problem" she has probably she cant sing? lol
3. In the early episode one of male lead have this "really scary" image to his own juniors but if you watch the drama until the end he's just the epitome of tsundere.
4.In season 1 out of 4 m & 1 f lead, 2 ml already found their own love line but we still have 2 ml & 1 fl . So i guess i cant really answer this as well because we need to wait season 2.
Although this drama have love story i dont think its overpowering the main theme "the life of the doctors and the medical staffs inside a hospital". The 4 ml and 1 fl are friends from university so their level of friendship is SUPERB. So yeah if you want to search pure rom-com i dont think this is for you but if you want to watch slice of life healing drama with hospital background that just perfect to watch in the middle of this pandemic mess, IMHO this is really recommended !

If you mean cliffhanger on love line part, in this drama there are five main leads and out of five, two of the main leads love line revealed in this season. For medical or to be exact life of medical staffs part imo nothing. This is a perfect slice of life and healing drama that everyone need in the middle of this pandemic mess. Although there's love line cliffhanger, i really recommend this drama!
