have seen the pilot week episodes and i still have my reservations about it. so far, the characters were so intriguing. they are literally the "people" we see everyday. i want to see how the writer will develop them. BUT god the pacing was so tedious, and there are so many scenes that just feels so hollow. and i think that's the point of it. since this drama is about the mundane life of the characters. i don't know if i will bear watching this til the end while its ongoing because it was so intrusive and depressing. i love my mister but it also took me three tries to get into it. that's exactly what i felt abt this drama too. nevertheless, this is great but idk if it still up to my cup of tea. through the years my preference in drama have changed and i'm not that patient enough with what i'm watching. if i don't like it i drop it. but i swear i want to watch this but i don't know if i could handle the heavy atmosphere it was projecting for next 7 weeks. let's see. all i could say is kim ji won was so fucking good in her role. tho well known, her skills in acting was underappreciated. we need to give her more credits with her acting chops. playing this role was a hardwork for sure.
Exactly if they fall out of love i would definitely understand why they broke up or if someone cheats (which i…
i must be a noble idiot then lol. but bro it really does happen especially on cases where you are close friends. the romantic attraction might go away, but the love is still there.
I just don't get people who say this drama will be depressing or have a negative message if the Hee Do and Yi…
im with you on this on a very personal level. been on a relationship like yi jin and hee do, started as friends then became lovers then became friends again. until now, we're still close as before, rooting for each other and even had our own partners now. thus, i REALLY really like the message it relays how to cherish the good times even it doesn't last long. lol my friend and i even make jokes about it now. there are just some relationships that can't be defined as neither platonic nor romantic. been there, been that.
Having seen the first three episodes, the series proved to be a delightful watch. It was great because it affected me emotionally. Not to mention the cinematography was just exquisite. I just know the character Sunja will make a mark on me when I reached the end. I don't really get how everyone is saying this is Americanized culture of Korea. Because as I have seen, it has the "heart" I've been looking for most kdramas. Just watch it guys, Sunja's character will touch your heart. Her character was very present in real life.
Anyone who came here , expecting some fluffy romance will say it was boring. I think its about managing expectations. The trailer if you've seen it, doesn't sell itself as a romance story. It was about a girl who thrived for her family. Romance is just one part of her life and not an integral part.
How so? This is the first I've heard this, so I'm curious.
On a press conference on a movie with Moon Chae Won, he said MCW should show her skin more to get a boyfriend. He said she was single bc she always wear turtlenecks. After he said that statement, MCW looks so uncomfortable and don't know what to say.

If Yoo Yeonseok turned the offer down, I'm more than happy! PMY doesn't deserve a sexist male lead. YYS was damn problematic.
