a good drama through and through, but i always find liking the first half more than the 2nd half. the daughter storyline is just less compelling | 8/10

cutthroat soap opera masked as thriller, glad that it's 6 eps only | 7/10

kdrama is so back!

i loved the storyline about the brothers more than anything else. choi woo shik is an amazing crier. the balcony scene at episode 10 totally broke me.

Wow, this must have had the healthiest second leads ever! Instead of drowning in self-pity after being rejected, they just showed how amazing they were and made it clear that it was the leads' loss. So refreshing!

this drama is a testament that we don't need popular actors and big budget to make an exceptional series. just look how well this is doing as compared with its rival drama from tvn.

god forbids a woman with no maternity instincts and be called superficial. god forbids a woman who is actually manipulative but yeah, it seems like making her a man would be more believable.

fl "could be" a very interesting character if we saw more scenes of her and her ex. however, most of the times in the drama, she is just this stoic lady and we know it was all a "surface". the writer didn't to dig deep from that surface.

ok then. i didn't say i love the character though. i said she's the most 'interesting'.

ironically enough, lee seo yeon is the most interesting character. the two leads were quite bland in comparison with seo yeon.

unlike kim go eun, lim ji yeon doesn't have that innocent face.

the way she moves her facial muscles, and the overall vibes is giving kim go eun

the actress for ex wife looks and acts like kim go eun. tell me im not the only one 🤧

i don't think the "fake" father is the biological father all along. he is the real father in a sense that he fathered he-joo, and he is hee-jo's real family even without the blood. this is inline with the found family message that the series has been sending out.

yeah, and that doesn't change my feelings toward the character. i'm still frustrated of her.

and also this is one of the few series where a little cute romance might have make it more engaging, like god, i want to see jooran and jeongnyeon falling for each other. i want to see more interactions between them.

i find the characters annoying now especially jeongnyeon. like girl, you brought it upon yourself. its good that that it is kim tae ri that's playing the character, because if not, i might have already dropped this series.

found family will do me no wrong, this is the only series i rated 10/10 this year.

im one of those few people who is not impressed with the writing of "it's okay to not be okay" as i found the plot superficial, but dayum, the writer did a magnificent job on this one.
