I remember when people on this comment section were ganging up on Nam Joo Hyuk for being casted alongside Kim…
i will not excuse myself because i think im also involved with that ganging but GOD did nam joo hyuk ate this role up. this is undoubtedly the best role he'd ever been.
I'm not understanding those that think if there's romance involved that the drama doesn't have friendship at its…
there's no problem inserting romance on a friendship-centered drama. "be melodramatic" proved it well. but the problem with this drama is that the romance is taking an unfair amount of screentime than the friendship. they even give more depth to one of the male characters than our lead joo-hee. and with the relationship setups, it was almost like we can't savor both the friendship and romance properly. the cheating-esque subplot kind of ruining the atmosphere. idk why the writer need to do insert that. to make the character more miserable, i think?
the magic with our lead's relationship is that even they stay as friends, it was already beautiful. the beauty of their relationship is how connected their hearts are that even distance cannot waver it. instead, it grows even more when they are apart.
i swear this thing going on between our leads will go down one of the most human and meaningful relationship we've ever seen in dramaland.
im now down to final episode, and i must say the first half is stronger than the second half. the cases in the 2nd half didn't leave that much of impression to me. but still, it was good and it relayed a strong message/criticism to the society.
edit: im finally finished and i must say i didn't like judge sim's backstory that much. it feels contrived. and yeah, i still believe the first half is SO much better than the second half. this drama, in overall, reminded me so much of taxi driver. both have stronger beginnings, and a weaker finish. i would give it 8.5/10 and i still think everyone should watch this despite misgivings near the end.
everyone needs to watch episodes 4 and 5. it was heartbreaking and a very universal episodes. it was so true that the family is always the starting point of misconduct. these episodes leave a great impact to me.
I had high expectations. Frustration... There is not enough chemistry between the friends and the tragedy started…
i have the same sentiments. they promoted it as a friendship-centered drama and so far, 70% of scenes is romance and 30% for our trio. The romance was a hard sell for me. I also hated the fact that the cliffhangers were Mi-Jo and Seon-Woo's scenes. Like meh. Idc abt them. I love Jo Hee and her cute (potential?) romance but why do they need to make her counterpart be in relationship. Like damn can they give us at least one cozy romance without complications. Or if they cannot, can they just focus with our trio?
im so sad this drama didn't receive that much hype. this needs to be talked out more. it has a very modern and prevalent social issue. i only watched the pilot episode and it was so good. the actors are doing so good. and the foreboding music really elevates the drama . it was a surprise to see the teacher from all of us are dead here haha/
I don't feel any emotions with Songkang's acting. He is flat and boring. Second fl and ml are annoying but they…
i can't even finish a single drama where he is the lead. there's always something off about his acting. could i say it was monotonous and always felt so staged? i see that he's always giving his best and i must say he's applaudable with how passionate he is seeing his back-to-back projects. but nevertheless (pun intended), i always find his acting awkward and dry.
She’s only a year older than me, I can sympathize because our bodies definitely start falling apart at this…
i followed pmy since high kick days and yes she's noticeably more tired in this drama. and per se, its not a bad thing, it just shows how even our favorite actresses are humans that get sick too.
both the friendship and romance properly. the cheating-esque subplot kind of ruining the atmosphere. idk why the writer need to do insert that. to make the character more miserable, i think?
