I feel the exact same. Really hoping she didn't get talked into this just because her management knew pairing…
It's just my hunch. I feel she decided to do this drama as a goodbye gift to her former company, Namoo (Song Kang was also in this company). After signing in to this drama she moved to new agency. I hope her next projects will be different. She's been stuck to this career woman role for like years now.
The writer is a hit-or-miss for me. I loved the first season of Romantic Doctor but the rest, I didn't finish. As a fan of Park Min Young, I'm sincerely hoping this will receive great reception. But I might give this a pass bc I found the premise entirely uninteresting and I feel indifferent with Song Kang's acting. Guess I'll just watch the premiere week and see where it goes for me. Fighting, PMY!
Watching all the teasers, I really don't know what to feel about this drama. Guess I need to lower my expectations. I can't figure out what it was trying to do. I don't know if its trying to be another Reply series, or slice-of-life drama with anime-ish styled characters (if you get what I'm saying). But one thing's for sure, this is an experimental drama from TVN. It can be either remarkably good or a major flop.
This is the most entertaining piece of media I've seen for awhile. I might be biased since I love apocalypse-themed series but its a 10/10 for me. More than the zombie chasing, I love the chemistry between the actors. The friendship formed amidst the chaos touched me to core. Nam Ra and Cheong San def shined here. But my personal favorites are Dae-Su and Mi-Jin. I'm pained how they killed the specs guy bc I absolutely adore him. Hoping for 2nd season.
Watched up to 3rd episode and this is so far more thrilling than Squid Game. The characters are more grounded, and more interesting. Excited to finish it tomorrow.
