LOL tbh snowdrop has issues with the story too. logic stretches and some comedic moments are unfitting. but at least that one was cohesive and all actors had very convincing acting. this one is just good prod value but messy storyline. or maybe its just my preference.
yes i watched til episode 3. while the production is of great value, the story is disjointed and the leads acting are just not it. i honestly find the second FL and ML more interesting. gong seung yeon acting really chops.
My heart is getting played by the writer! As much as I love Yeon Su and Choi Ung together, my heart also beats for the second leads. NJ is becoming likeable as the story goes on. Her character really reminds me of Dan Ah from Run On.
Jisoo is my ultimate bias, but I can still point out some flaws in her acting and it is okay. I feel like we never…
Yeah, I also thinks she's fitting for the role. She had that natural innocence on her.
I think one of the dips of her acting is her speaking voice. She need some voice modulation bc hers is husky as it is so when she's screaming it feels it could break anytime. Or maybe it could be her asset in the future like Seo Yea Ji and Won Jin Ah. Also, her diction, tho I'm not a Korean speaker, sometimes it feels like she's eating her words and it sounds incoherent.
For the strong points, I think for a beginner she really showed variety of facial expressions. I like that she's emotive in her acting and not wooden, trying-hard-to-be-pretty-on-camera-at-all-times type of actress.
jisoo's acting is good but not daesang-worthy just like some are saying lol (at least for the five episodes released). actually the character was not that demanding, it was the typical cutesy and innocent FL. but still, lets see how her character will evolve in the future episodes. for now, her acting didn't give me much of impression. she just blends.
acting-wise, through watching this drama, kim hye yoon and yoon se ah shined. they deserve nominations in the future award ceremonies.
tbh among the set of characters, the leads are the least interesting imo. im looking forward more to the side characters than them. maybe it was bc i already felt i already saw the totality of their characters and now they are just a catalyst for the plot and nothing more. for the side characters, im still waiting how the writer will peel them and contribute to the plot. well, that's just my opinion.
