btw is there any confirmation that im soo ho is actually a NK? because as of two episodes, there's still none. half of the controversy is bc soo ho is a NK right? but what if it turns out he's not.

i think YES. remind you, the drama is romance in genre but in a very political backdrop. seeing 40% of the screentime is politics, the plot would be trimmed all the way down and suffer from a lackluster script.but also thinking, yeah giving the story a different setting would still work. but only the plot will be less intense and engaging.actually my opinion on this drama is a mixed bag. i love it for what it is as fiction drama. but seeing all the fuss happening around the drama, as it was politically-colored, i kept feeling conflicted. this drama sure be a guilty pleasure to me.

Started this today to cure my hangover from Inspector Koo. Two episodes in and I'm already wowed.

Turns out I'm correct.

my first 10/10 for this year. and honestly if i could only give higher than 10, i will. this is undoubtedly the best that came out this year. this is right up my alley. dark comedy but does take its characters and plot seriously. this is just beyond excellent.

And ngl, the chemistry b/w Jihan & Jenna was brewing too.

LOL the way CEO Cha was so stressed out on the last 5 mins of Episode 10. He was so cute on that sofa.

i get you. with such a great ensemble of actors and actresses, i don't know why they cast a rookie actress for the lead role. it will be a big hit or miss. i have my reservations but i'm sincerely rooting for this drama to succeed. mainly bc i love sky castle and im so stoked for the director and writer's reunion. also im a fan of the other lead actresses beside the main FL.

Anyway, these are just my preferences for the story. I hope no one get cheeky on me 😝
