yes the comedy was really some cheap comedy. i also find it hard to look beyond it. but i dropped this, came back…
TFP and Chief Kim did good locally. But internationally unrecognized and ignored by many. This is the first drama from the writer that soar internationally. And to say, I didn't even finish the mentioned two dramas. The only work I've watched from this writer is Blood. Which also facilitated good premised but suffered from sluggish pacing and uneven story. I don't want to spoil anything but the ending of Blood is a train-wreck. I'm afraid but the writer might do it again here. The story treatment was almost similar minus the comedy.

yes, this drama is an acquired taste, i must say. you can be a non-fan of sjk before you watch this, but sure after, you will be one. he's strikingly beautiful in this drama. all that outfits and shot, even men will say he's really beautiful.
and let's be real here. sjk is a big name in the industry. it's impossible not to know him if you follow korean dramas. so him being on this show sure amplifies the popularity and rave.
Please tell me it gets better, I just watched episode 1 and started good but the lame comedy after just bored…
yes the comedy was really some cheap comedy. i also find it hard to look beyond it. but i dropped this, came back for it, dropped it again, and came back for it. this is a show where you need to adjust your viewing lenses. treat it as some-anime crack show. it worked, at least for me. and it was in episodic format, just like an anime. watching this show were, for me, appreciation of song joong ki's beauty, buying jeon yeo bin's facial expressions (tho i don't like her character, but i love the actress sm, its more like appreciation of the actress than the character), and some masterful execution by the director.i will finish this drama with that treatment, tho i admit that from now on, i will avoid this writer's work. his writing was just not my cup of tea. i am frustrated when i drop shows, so as far as i can, i keep looking things to stick with a show. in the case of this drama, it's still bearable. i can still look beyond its flaws. it just wasn't the best out there just like everyone says. kinda overhyped. if sjk was not here, im sure this will not call the attention of international viewers as per writer's past works. lower your expectations a bit. that's the way. ⟵(o_O)
ok so explain to me the scene where choi hong joo was dragged out and the show already blacked out then suddenly its 10 minutes before the show ended. im so confused.
the writer's past work is a serious drama, like very serious, and seeing the comedy tag got me thinking if its really had a comedy considering the writer.
Same...I am more interested in 3 villians (especially due to their strong performance). The actor playing Mr Hong…
yes, especially myung hee. she really nailed it. i liked it when she just snap out of frustration. and she really had this emanating super villain vibe you can't help but kinda root for her.
ok so i picked it up again from my dropped list hoping episode 7 could get better and i think this is not really…
but i must say the cinematography and production value was top notch. hats off to the production team and the director. they really did it amidst the threat of pandemic.
