this is a banger. perhaps, the reason why many got disappointed is because of managing expectations. i already expected it to be a comedy-thriller mix and so far, this drama has been doing it excellently. the side characters are fun too.
yeah its been a while for me too watching fun dramas...but i didnt like like fl at starting but gradually its…
its refreshing to see her acting. most actresses are trying to be pretty in these kind of roles. and she reminded me so much of the fl from the fiery priest. a drama by same writer.
this got me crying out of laughter. its been a while since i had fun watching dramas. i especially love the FL!!!! her expressions are bomb. and song joong ki... i can't help but swoon.
jsw was so charismatic here. and i absolutely love how seo hae looks like a fish out of the sea. kinda reminded me of jun ji hyun from legend of the blue sea. and can i mention shin hye's action scenes were damn cool. and seeing her giving a finger was beyond satisfying.
Umm… you've see one episode only so far, how can you tell the "writing was pretty much sloppy" and it has a…
1. when shin hye reached the present timeline and she was chased by masked men, (i still don't remember her character's name) pretty sitting on the top of the train as if the drone didn't exist. thinking how she evaded the masked men in that situation was a huge question. but ok the writer leave the scene with her chilling.
2. the plane crash. they didn't show how the plane landed haha. and the way we see not even a single stewardess being injured or even (possibly) dead bc of the ruckus inside the plane.
3. what technology does tae sul have to detect his brother's face on that blurry image.
with the plot, well, we've seen it many times hun. it was obvious the writers were a marvel fanatic.
nevertheless, i still watch this overlooking suspension of disbelief, logic lapses and all. the acting and production was wow.
shin hye's character × restaurant boy (they're cute!)
han tae sul x his bff (lol i wish sokor stop teasing us with bromances, it's about time for some mxm romance; imagine if they pull bestfriend-to-lovers-at-the-midst-of-dystopia-mess trope)
yes the writing was pretty much sloppy but there's so much left to be desired. the characters already interest me, and i think that's it. i will continue to watch this amidst the weak plot. i just wish they don't flood these with logic lapses and in good.
i don't plan to watch this because err the synopsis is not doing "it" for me. but after watching the trailers, *dawg* i might enjoy this to heal my run on withdrawal.
