the writing is kind of choppy now, and in later episodes, it might get choppier. and hence dropping it. but still let's see. tbh, i'm not a fan of romance here. so its least of my concern. im more concerned with how they execute jugyeong's journey on finding true beauty (hence the title). if they gonna draaaaag the romance so much and undermine jugyeong's inferiority complex,vmade the love triangle go to worst, made jugyeong a prize for two leads. then be it. i'll drop this. i don't want another start up experience haha.
this was like the most solid couples ive seen. teasers but i already felt their electrifying chemistry. i like that it gives me "because this is my first life" vibes
this is like the dumbest and craziest drama i have seen, and seeing this with my mom helps. i have no plan to continue this but my mom kept nagging me so ok. lol. but really the way i laugh on the craziness of some scenes. almost all actors are screaming im worried with their larynx. still enjoyable if you had so much time in your hands like me
im not really a fun of cheesy plotlines like this, with the cheesy execution of the director. BUT hella this is so fun! im one of those who enjoyed laughter in waikiki (yeah a no-brainer comedy show but was ultimately fun) so i think i will enjoy this on the long run. THIS SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY. i mean look, it was fantasy-ish. and exaggerated. this should be enjoyed as it is. sometimes we need an adequate amount of fun. and this is it! (and oh the leads were so pleasant to eyes to see)
the directing style reminds me of kim won suk (the top tier director who created my mister, signal, & arthdal chronicles). this could be the next gem. i swear. if they keep this up.
i hope to see you kimsamsoom under the comment section of the new drama "hush". the drama will tackle heavily on pragmatism vs. idealism. and it was set on broadcasting station! praying to see you there!!!!!
the pilot episode was neat as fuck. that's all there to say.
i love the shonen vibes!!!!! and with the flooding of dislikeable leads these past months, this hits the right spot–characters are all adorable T.T and i want to give a special mention to one of mun's friend (the girl), bc the actress was only 14. holy shit. she already vibin with her roles. she left a great impression on me during sky castle. and seeing her play a nerdy girl here is a delight. AND don't start me jo byung kyoo. he just NAILED it all.

at this point, dal mi doesn't deserve a precious man like ji pyeong. that time skip didn't do anything for her character development. she still felt like a rookie CEO. CEO for three years but still haven't learnt to separate work from life? am i supposed to believe she's a hotshot CEO? and don't start with do san. still the naive boy. they are like 30 year-olds acting like at their 18's.
if only the writer gave a romance subplot for in jae and ji pyeong, instead of resorting to love triangle, it would be much better. in jae was underused. her story could have been traveled more.
