I know, that was what SYM wants him to do and to let go bc NH didn't even do the things he hates him for 😅

Yes, the scriptwriter is just another character. The modern version of SYM(SXY) and NH(NF) and everyone else in…
It is! I thought it was just a normal FL goes to the story/script world but the twist made it more awesome

Ahhh that makes sense then! Now, I get it so the modern world is part of the "script" of the original screenwriter. So, it's more like a script within a script 😅 Thank you for explaining

Finally finished this drama. It’s so good! Something fresh, not entirely new in concept, but we don’t really see a lot of this nowadays. If I may say, it’s somewhat similar to the kdrama "Extraordinary You" in the sense that beyond the storyline, the lead characters have consciousness and do what they want. Concepts like this naturally have plotholes, but it’s a cdrama so that’s not new lol. This drama is hilarious, I laughed a lot, but the pacing could have been better. I admit I used the power of 1.5x speed.

Is the FL annoying? I also admit I was annoyed during the first parts, but not out of hate or whatsoever. I understood that she entered a world where her only advantage was the script she knew, so of course she had prejudice toward the other characters. The ML really suits his character and both leads gave great performances. I think I also love this drama because of the characters. I especially love how YT didn’t end up being the character she was originally supposed to be in the script. I love how the changes the leads made resulted in a new set of characters, although I guess they were already written by the original scriptwriter. I am especially amaze how ML thought of using 2 rules in the same time during the 3 sword stab.

That said, I’m still confused about the screenwriter. Am I right in thinking he was just another character? I was confused that it wasn’t Bi Xiong writing but a female writer, so I guess Bi Xiong was just included as a character to explain the rules and push the second ML to become the villain? I don’t know, I’m still trying to understand lol I’m guessing it was SXY who dreamed that she dreamed she was inside a script, and in that layered dream, the writer was BX?

Anyway, just want to say, who wouldn’t fall for the ML? It’s always the misunderstood male lead with a heart of gold who ends up winning everyone’s love lol. This was such a funny and good drama!

Finally finished. To me, it is good. Although reading from the comments after finishing it, I realize we have a common denominator. It is that the second half is a bit uninteresting. I haven't read the novel ok, so I'm just commenting as a drama viewer. I didn't like the amnesia part and the obsession part. In the first half, I already have a feeling that the 3rd Prince isn't what he is. But I didn't expect an obsession trope. I was just expecting him to be watching the sidelines, creating small ripples that will eventually led to the downfall of the 2 older princes. The amnesia part is too weird for me as well, because why'd she plan to stay at 3rd Prince house and the whole, yes she can't remember, but why does it need to involve the 3rd Prince? I guess it was bc FL needs to discover the "obsession" which I already said is also weird to me. I won't even be vocal about it if I didn't see that a lot of ppl wrote for this drama but I'm expressing it bc there flow isn't really giving a cohesive story but rather putting out tropes just to give a story. But overall, it is a nice watch. And very interesting start. Another thing though, I was expecting FL to be more cunning, intelligent and do more to build her character considering the title was about her(?) no? Chemistry wise, I think they look good. Side characters are good too. The ending felt short. That master of them could've gotten a story tho. Good drama 👍🏻

Just want to say. I LOVE IT. I don't usually put reviews after ending a drama. Usually, I just put my thoughts in the comments and done. But I wanted to make one for this drama because there's much to talk so I will try to make a review based on all my thoughts on this drama. I enjoyed it

I stopped midway (ep 12 start rn). Don't know what to feel with the sudden revelation. I mean I am sure she is SL but the whole process tho? I expected her to d*e first then for some reason the seal gets broken or whatever that will turn her to her original which is SL. But oh well, it isn't my story to write lol the turn of events is just too fast for me. Now, I await for how this whole happenings unfold lol bc the sect is hers and Ling Er is on her side ??? that kind of shock me a little

Ok. just passing by. will continue now

Done watching. This is a good drama, not bad but not also the best. I tried not to read comments during my whole watch and I did get somehow annoyed with FL from the start but I learn to accept that it is her character being protective of her image as a lady and status. Maybe bc I was expecting a FL with more care on the politics from the start but I loved her intelligence when she posed as a merchant. This is the 1st drama I saw the actress and I think she did good. Light drama since it made me laugh a few times. The Nanlu trope with WZ ended so fast, it felt like the whole Nanlu part was just 10 mins lol it felt like WZ was an intelligent interesting character but he just died. ML is ok, I have watched SWL before. I love the side characters tho, so lovable. Overall, good ending and watchable

I was having a slump watching cdramas for a few months now. I started watching a drama that aired in April and I just finished it last week lol I have seen a lot of dramas aired since then including this one. I wasn't really sure I'd get hooked watching this considering how long it took me to finish my last cdrama (I kept on doing and watching other things that made me stop watching cdramas most of the days)

BUT I'm so happy it kept my interest so well 😭 This is such a great drama! I admit tho when I first saw LYN as a lead having 4 generals, my mind went back to AJTL level of ending and I unfortunately spoiled myself of the ending midway of this drama but then again, it did not made my interest waver and I loved it! This drama made me love a lot of characters be it a side or a lead ones. The writing is amazing! Let me just highlight that one. I love seeing supportive couple. The growth and understanding they have despite being in opposite sides before is written in a good pace that you can really see how they grew their love and change their hate and guilt to letting it go. For both the leads, I have watched them both in a number of dramas. LYN really have this aura of power that's why roles like this fits him. For SZE, well some of her dramas I have watched are older except for the latest one before this (good to see her back tho), her acting is really good here bc I didn't like her acting that much in her past dramas. Both of them really did a great job in this drama. Congratulations to them and all the other actors/actresses here.

I have more dramas in line now those who are aired after this one. Hoping I'd see a good one as well because I don't want to lose this momentum of interest of watching cdramas and for what was aired this year, I'd put this drama as one of the good ones too! Great drama!

I just realized, I shouldn't be expecting a happy ending to a LSS lead drama with the title containing the word "Love" bc what do you mean A Journey to Death (Love) and Death (Love) in Pavillion 🥲

But on a serious note, I wish I was able to know QL's story after she went missing. If anyone knows, I'm happy to know what happens to her ☺️

Another LSS drama making me cry 🥲 Honestly, interesting from the start even though some parts I felt bored. I watched it straight since I'm a late starter of this drama. The actors and actresses are all good. The story is good as well. The ending is sufficient. When I saw what was happening with QY and ZZ towards the ending, I knew this was gonna be a sad one. It was sad, yes, but I'm glad they made it somehow close to like in reality. They made HY human, losing almost everyone he loves, he is really bound to lost his spirit but they also made him human, capable of still caring and loving, able to feel hope once more. Even though, their sacrifices somehow didn't fully end what should have ended, I understand why this drama had to be like that. Hate will never be gone in this world and it will only get stronger if everyone let that overpower. It can only be managed but never gone. So it will only be a constant cycle. On a side note, it's the first time I'm seeing SY in a genre like this. I can't remember but I felt like I saw some posts or articles that says she doesn't fit this kind of genre but they're wrong bc she honestly looks good and she definitely did good here. I hope to see her more on dramas like this. The cast was honestly surprising bc almost everyone is a very familiar face. Thanks and congratulations to this production. It's a good drama, I enjoyed it.

Honestly, when I first started this, it was really interesting. Don't hate me, but suddenly it felt draggy. FL fits more with the strong character than her being clingy cutesy. Idk but the romance isn't likeable to me, sorry but there is no chemistry (but them promoting this drama, they look so good tgt in those clips lol). This is the 2nd drama with DW that I didn't like. I don't hate him ok but I have not finished LYF bc of romance as well. But that's just me bc when I almost dropped this one, I checked the comments and apparently a lot of ppl liked it. But it still didn't change my view of it. This one, I really tried my best to finish it by fast forwarding scenes. Regarding the story, it felt too draggy to me bc I felt like a lot is happening just to prolong it. Nonetheless, I finished it, glad for a HE tho.

Great Acting! The story is ok but well-written. It is kind of boring/slow during the 1st ep but got me hooked after. Glad I stayed to watch it. There were lots of predictable scenes but nonetheless, the message is clear. You reap what you sow, karma is real.

I agree. Filter was such a surprise to me, with a fresh, layered story and a great cast.LYF was my introduction…
It is. It is quite a new plot within the modern cdramas bc usually modern ones doesn't have touches of fantasy and is more on youth, slice of life or romance (or just those I have watched 😅) so this one was interesting and also funny.

I did get to watch a few eps of LYF but I put it on hold bc I wasn't really in a mood to watch something with romance. I was more into looking forward the political part of that drama but ppl said it happened mostly on S2 but I don't like to watch S2 without watching S1 so I guess I'll put it on hold for quite a while.

I have watched LLD in My Huckleberry Friends, Love of Nirvana and The Starry Love. TSL was quite a surprise tho, I don't have any expectations to it but a good watch. Looking forward to her upcoming dramas as well :)

I finished watching it weeks ago but I still like to drop a comment. It's honestly entertaining and interesting to me because to me the plot is something new. Although, I had a few frustrations towards some of the leads decisions, it really didn't affect much because I must say I really like and enjoyed this drama. I started watching this before going on an international travel. I downloaded few episodes just so I could watch on the plane and on another country but lo and behold lol when I tried watching the first night on another country, the app wasn't working because of the location hahaha so I had to resort watching on *ehem* sites, that's how much I wanted to watch this drama then continued finishing it when I was back home. So for everyone in doubt, I suggest to take your time watching or even give it a chance.

Also, this is the first time I have watched and finished a drama with TJC as I have not finished LYF. He is so good! As for LLD, I have watched her before and I always think she is very pretty. Her beauty is princess-like or like you know a daughter from a rich family so I can't imagine people not liking her visuals in the drama lol anyway, both of them are so good and also the rest of the cast. The 2nd lead couple story is ok too, got me more interested towards the last part. That is all, it's an enjoyable drama

I occassionally watch Kdramas nowadays (more into cdramas for years) but I promised and waited for this drama to be completed before I watch (well, I like the leads but I've been looking forward to the story and the roles they play)

I finally finish it now and with tears in my eyes. I love it a lot!! I'm also really a fan of slice of life or family genre dramas. This is such a masterpiece! The acting and the plot is top notch! I really couldn't explain much because I'm still quite emotional after finishing it. I have so many thoughts and realizations. You know, as an adult myself, I'm on the age where I should have family myself. But it never crosses my mind nor becomes a priority because I always thought, will I be a good mom like my mom? Will I be a good parent just like my parents sacrificed and worked hard so we could live this life. I just felt it so much how Ae-sun and Gwang Sik sacrifice for their children. But at the same time, it kind of show me that in this life, we are all first timers. We learn as we live. So if I get the chance to live the life that is meant for me, I just also hope I could be good to the people I will be with and I hurt nobody. Also, I relate so much to Geum Myeong, being the eldest daughter and sibling, even though my parents never pressured me to be their pillar like Geum Myeong, it comes naturally. How my parents naturally tries to give me the best as well when they can, I relate to it all.

This drama gave us a lot of things to ponder about. I hope we could all live life with love. Congratulations to the the whole When Life Gives You Tangerines casts and crew. Everyone is so incredible!!
