Kan Ziyi was miscast in this drama.
I watched this last year because of Liang Siwei and i dont like this drama.The plot was alright, but Kan Ziyi was a miscast she looks to mature to be 19. The tug-of-war between them wasn't really there. He's always showing off his abs in dramas (I just remember from most drama starred Liang Siwei , there is the first scene Liang Siwei throw his clothes topless and kissing the FL lmao). FL's character is not very likable. She is pretentious and wants everything. I tried to tolerate but i cannot force myself to done this drama. Dropped.

Female Lead attitude make me dropped this drama fast than light.
I like the theme of this drama and used to watch J-drama with same theme (I love Satomi Ishihara's Unnatural) , but unfortunately, I really can't accept the FL's character. FL laughs indiscriminately when in forensic room. She laughs even when the forensic doctor is examining an autopsy at a crime scene, and she even shakes hands with him. So rude!FL is supposed to be a gentle police officer, while the ML, is a forensic doctor, yet the police officer's fighting skills feels like she paid the school to get herself enrolled. Unbearable to watch. Dropped.

Wang Yilei solely good acting cannot save this drama.
I remember when i watched other version the plot was so-so but the acting was so adequate to make me engaging on that drama. This drama ruined my view experience. Even my friends saying this version was the best, i completely never agree with her. The production of this drama feel sloppy.I wont say Wang Yilei acting cannot acting (but Yang Shuyu stills has no improvement and it was making this experience more worse) but the ML looks misfit as someone older, FL didn't look too mentally strong and somehow they are miscast on the adaptation. It feels he works alone in full of group assignment. but the result still got F-.
Dropped.

Non-sense drama
I watched this last year and decide to discontinue this drama and reminisce my memory and re-check my decision and turn out i was right back then.Plot is generic formula in Chinese short drama and getting more ridiculous SFL change the jade pendant with a watch doesn't make it better.
It was uncomfortable to see child abuse and lack of chemistry between Zhang Yuntao and Liu Xiyu make me dropped this drama fast.

Xu Siqi is miscast and this CP didn't match the plot.
I watch Zeng Hui and Han Yutong version and felt so satisfying to rewatch. I give try to Huang Bo and Xu Siqi version and...God I cannot watch this Xu Siqi lacks femme fatale aura and her way of delivering as Lin Yue is too weak. She was miscast. Huang Bo cannot help to save the drama, he looks too lazy instead being cold person. Dropped.Was this review helpful to you?
Quite promising body swap plot but ...
Ok I watch it in last year when i was new into Chinese short drama and didn't know their names. The plot is actually quite good and promising and I like Wang Nan comedic banter even when he is on feminine mode. Zuo Yi was actually good on her role as bad actress but somehow i don't enjoy her vibe make me want to stop watch. I tried to fasten and skimming the drama but maybe my intuition wont make me want to watch this drama. Dropped.Was this review helpful to you?
Even Tian Tianyi wont save this drama.
I almost watch all Tian Tianyi drama and this is only one that I dropped in middle way. The Plot is being used in another drama and i can completely watch that drama. Tian Tianyi in this shows her lack of emotion especially on sad scene. (Her weakness is her crying scene didn't convincing enough while the character always on melancholy mood) and Lihao acting is being stiff and lack of romance feeling when he supposed to said fluttering words. Their Chemistry is zero, i feel like i watch some Tiktok with CP that i don't like with overused song. Appreciated for editing team, but i am out for watching this drama. Lead are not in good form.
I was glad to see Jiang Shiqi and Huang Youtian collaboration but I was completely disappointed. They look obviously not in good form even the filter couldn't hide it. Even Make Up Artist didn't give their best in to hide their tired face.The pacing is mediocre, it's disjointed probably due bad editing, mainly focusing on the plot, but the romance is also uninteresting. I was completely disinterest and decided to check other drama. Dropped

Completely letdown for both actor.
The plot and teaser are quite promising since the FL is supposed to badass trying to survive while ML is trying to pursue her despite their age gap. Maybe i am not really fan of Zuo Yi acting since her acting is always on/off for me but Zhao Zhendong has really bad luck for picking decent script. The screenwriter is trying to make the drama has some deep meaning but they failed to do that. Dropped.Was this review helpful to you?
Never get the hype.
I know people enjoy this since its Kechun drama but actually i tried to watch it and end up dropping this. I love revenge plot and there the iconic moment when Yuyin was being carried by Kechun, I've seen it many times. There is may remake on this adaptation and i prefer the other one compare to this. Plot are quite mess and inconsistent and Yuyin is not great on this drama for me despite its being her most popular drama on this year. Unorganized plot with zero chemistry
Just watch it for Lily Zai sake, i don't familiar with Chu Zi Jun acting. The Plot is about secret marriage (i am sucker for the plot) but i was just too dissapointed. No chemistry between them. Male Lead are too stiff for my liking. There is too much plot hole and too many inconsistent plot. I'm just fast forward and lose interest since plot is not going anywhere. Ye Haoran make the character look same as his other dramas
I want to watch this and expected another Ye Haoran without his younger brother persona. But he looks like spoiled children instead of mafia. The supporting role acting is quite old-style and still stiff. Female Lead didn't have any charm and her characterization is too weak compare to other same adaption. I watched it when i want to make some review and i remember i dropped this drama before since all of casts acting are unbearable to me. No chemistry, Only Lust and obvious budget-tight drama. Female Lead is too weak and All the brothers are creep. Nothing could save this drama and they deserve their own Razzie award!Was this review helpful to you?
Promising plot but cannot continue this
I tried to watch Wang Yilei since my fellow friend recommend him. And the thing i cannot bear to watch are the female lead (no hate to her she is so pretty but she need improvement especially with her wooden expression and same tonal speaking. I suggest her to do second lead to improve her acting skill). The plot are promising but i cannot watch her same expression. Dropped this.Was this review helpful to you?
Boring drama
I was quite tempted with the premise but the execution was underwhelmed.A typical "domineering CEO and his doting wife" romance novel with a slightly fantastical twist using mermaid FL as camouflage, but essentially the same old thing. The villains are very stereotypical old style. No chemistry between Liu Lange and Zuo Ming since the plot was quite weak and boring; you basically know the plot from the beginning. Dropped on 10 minutes lol.
