This is more leans into political drama.

I watched this last year and had this drama on hold for some reason. Decided to watch back and it was decent despite the abrupt ending.

This drama really due gender reversal perfectly Woman Rules while Man obeys.

The logic and details are reasonable, the plot unfolds naturally, and the pacing is tight and smooth. FL is courageous and resourceful, strategizing meticulously, with interconnected schemes, utilizing all available resources, making no wrong moves, and ultimately achieving a successful comeback, not only avenging her family but also reaching the top. Moreover, this drama is not a pseudo-1vN story so there is no kissing or romantic moment between FL and 3 MLs-even though FL created her own harem.

Recommended to watch if you want to watch gender reverse political struggle.

Classic drama.

This drama is the third drama i ever done when i first watching short drama in 2024.

The plot is about FL and ML met on unexpected encounter, decide to have a whirlwind marriage. However, ML maintains a mysterious identity and past. FL begins to suspect ML true identity. She discovers that ML was once a gang leader but changed his identity after a certain incident. Through a series of interactions, FL decides to face MLs past together and help him solve his problems. They experience a series of dangers and trials without any money.

The thing that i liked for this drama is Sun Yue remark. He may not the most handsome but his acting was quite smart and he can hinder his other leads weakness especially Xu Yizhen. Such a rare gem on short drama not many actors cannot do that. Even the romance and kisses were not sensual but you can feel the dynamic duo between them. Xu Yizhen embraced resilient FL who wants to know ML hidden secret.

If you want to watch classic decent drama, watch this.

It was nice family drama despite unnecessary verbal sparring

I watch this when I want to explore more Li Jingye works and i was surprised on Liu Yuhang as her ML.

The plot is about FL who was from zombie apocalypse era travels back to the 1970s to lead her good-for-nothing father and younger brother. The original FL was being known as fool girl.bFL just want to eat meat but her family are useless, so she just hunted prey and selling that in black market and they become rich. Basically she becomes breadwinner for two men in her family make his father family scrutinize them.FL met ML when she hunted fish in the river and ML was take a bath. I cannot with her blatant confession to make ML as his concubine and ML felt scared but secretly enjoy this. I quite like how FL father growth to become helper since he realized his previous mistake and FL younger brother is same too and he was the cupid for ML.

The cons in this drama FL father kept appeared until the last episode. ML childhood sweetheart are too annoying. After the story, the bickering and verbal sparring increases and it gradually falls into a cliche plot. The romance between Li Jingye and Liu Yuhang are almost zero since there is more neck biting and less of real kiss.

Still decent family drama to watch.

An ambiguous drama between Younger man/Older Woman

I was excited when i watched this in this year since i found decent sub in this drama and it turns out it was decent. Even they claimed this drama had Hongkong style but i don't feel any Hongkong vibe at all (Maybe because Jeana Ho was Hongkong citizen).

The plot is about FL knows her fiancé was getting affair. She remained calm but actually she was slightly emotional, but simply went to drink and vent with family and friends. It was at this moment that the she met ML. And then ambiguous relationship between FL and ML started.

Their romance was captivating; the older sister was mature and charming, the younger brother innocent but emotionally expressive, and the age and social gap created a turbulent relationship. It was rare to see Ma Xiaoyu in younger brother role and the age gap in real life was real and the casting was right. Personally the chemistry between him and Jeana Ho were not overflowing but it was still sufficient to watch since they had ambiguous relationship at first they met.

The sibling relation between FL and her older sister are so strong and their dynamic seems decent to see. But i felt ML's younger brother presence was too weak in terms of acting while he was actually was the key of this drama.

The ending felt a bit ambiguous; it didn't clarify whether the ML died or not, nor did it explain the fate of the FL's father and FL ex fiancé. The cons in this drama the final stab felt a bit unnecessary.

Still recommended despite the flaws.

The first half of drama was quite okay but downhill until the end

I watched this for Wen Moyan and it was rare case for Shen Haonan to get good chemistry with his female leads. There is original voice so i enjoy Wen Moyan husky voice .

There are tons of kissing scenes throughout the series, almost every episode in the beginning. They're real kisses, no camera tricks, and they're quite beautiful. But i feel slightly irks when ML calls FL "sister" all the time, he is not giving younger brother vibe even in real life Wen Moyan was older than Shen Haonan.

The divorce announcement was late, and the villain's presence was a bit too strong and boring, with too much screen time preventing the main couple's story from fully developing. ML was only focused on romance and didn't seek revenge, only mentioning the scumbag's bankruptcy at the end.

Still decent watch.

Quite conflicted with Jinzi Bratty Princess persona.

I watched this last year and actually Jinzi is the first version i ever watched before Tian Jiu Luo and it was nice decision for me.

The plot is significantly better than the first version, more complete, with more reasonable details and better distribution of screen time, thus establishing the characters of the ML. Even in this drama they mostly focused on Zhang Tingrui and Jinzi moment.

This drama show the younger brother is a sickly puppy, General Huo is a proud puppy, Young Marquis Xie is a frizzy puppy, and the prince is an aloof puppy. Too bad the Prime Minister appearance almost non exist in this.

The thing that i don't like in this drama Jinzi characterization is she showing Bratty princess instead of Dog trainer. For Zhang Tingrui, his acting ability was show limited in this drama. But the Marquis Xie has really best comedy technique in this drama and his screentime was almost same as Zhang Tingrui.

It seems like they're planning a second season since the novel is still ongoing, but it's hard to guarantee a good short series. If you don't mind a bad ending, you can watch it. The plot is much better than the first version, but for FL characterization

Still decent watch though.

Average Plot with Awesome Acting.

I watched this drama and for the adaptation nothing could beat this version. The age gap looks so real but somehow it fits the drama. The chemistry between the Feng Ming Chao and Meng Na is excellent. Their kisses are emotional, logical, and psychologically engaging.

For simple plot, FL was being orphan and raised by the ML. They appear to be siblings, but are not actually related by blood. FL has secretly loved the ML since childhood, and he has always doted on her, seemingly waiting for her to grow up. So overall, it's very sweet, with no angst.

Meng Na was truly beautiful; even that hime-cut looked good on her. She could be both cool and sweet, very sassy when dealing with scumbags, and very sweet when facing ML. I liked her when she hugged ML it was very naturally cute.

Feng Ming Chao was too thin but he seems well-suited for this type of aloof, domineering older man. His acting skills, having experience in long drama are unlikely to be bad. And his real-life as a father also lends him an edge in portraying older characters.

Supporting characters are just so-so. The various villainous female supporting characters and extras in the short drama are nothing special, but there aren't any particularly bad either.

This is obviously on-budget drama but the acting was decent to watch.

Plot was decent but i need to rewatch to remember again.

I watched this last year and actually the plot was quite decent but this drama was so forgettable.

The plot is about FL was being in love with ML for 7 years while ML always giving her empty promises. When ML abandoning FL at their engagement party for his white moonlight FL is totally leaving ML without any doubt and when she leave ML her bad mouth bad omen power here is functional for many times.

Song Yujia nailed the resilient FL and I really stunned by Wei Ruochen acting as scumbag. Charon acting in this drama was so weak and the chemistry between him and Song Yujia almost non-exist in entire drama.

And the maid was quite refreshing character.

Recommended to watch.

I have dilemma about FL mother character development

I watched this last year and i quite like this.

Aike embodies FL with a cool and sassy style, and her action scenes are very cool. Moreover, there's no ML no romance, just a pure female lead's personal showcase. FL relies on herself to make money, directly retaliating against anyone who tries to bully her.

My cons is FL's real mother character development seems forced and unnatural. I know this might be for plot advancement, but they should developed FL's real mother in the first half, showing her protecting the FL in crucial moments, making her forgiveness in the end more logical. If FL's real mother hadn't known the adopted daughter was born after her husband's infidelity, she would protect FL for first time she met her FL.

How much saintly compassion does the FL need to forgive her mother? FL real mother never protected FL during conflicts with her adopted daughter, and even chose the adopted daughter when faced with a choice between two options, yet she forgave her in the end.

Another worse character goes to FL real brothers, they are straight creepy people and should go to prison.

If you like strong female lead dramas, go watch it!

Too much cut on this drama.

I remember i watched this drama around two years ago and for the best adaptation goes to Bai Yan and Liu Qing one.

This version has some cuts. Many supporting characters are missing. There's no faked death; FL just went abroad for two years for medical treatment. FL sends the ML to prison and gives birth to their child alone. Six years later, FL working hard to save her child, meets the successful ML again, beginning a cycle of revenge, atonement, turmoil, and compensation.

The couple shows bittersweet feeling that missed on Bai Yan and Liu Qing version and Ma Qianhuan acting in this drama is kinda forced somehow but Huang Yunyun styling and acting was still good.

Still decent watch but if you hate violence into FL you better skip this.

Passable drama for actors fans

I watched this from two years ago and personally i am not liking nor hating this drama.

I actually like cross-dressing drama but the hidden identity plot was being dragged for too long make me bored. Li Keyi has potential on comedy route but this drama felt so unnatural and Zeng Hui acting was so stiff (understandable since it was his earliest drama). The chemistry between them was still fine eventhough there is no hint of sparks.

Maybe if you are fans of both actor you could watch this.

Too much talking

I watched Yunmiao 2 with higher expectation and the result was not bad but still average and didn't catch the first charm.

There is more lean of dialogue than in the first season. The visual storytelling is noticeably less engaging than in the first season. The lack of detail and the feeling that solving the mystery relies solely on the FL's words lead to a lack of audience participation and the satisfying sense of plot twists and reversals. The costumes and props are still well-maintained.

I quite like ML is not her romantic interest but he is willing to become her servant.

Still prefer the first version.

Hidden identity with wrong diagnosis.

I watched all of Peng Daidai and Wang Nan and this is their best one. Although it's an old trop about hidden identity with wrong diagnosis, it was still decent to watch.

No drugging, No kidnapping, no shielding, and the couple stands united against outsiders. Wang Nan's crying scenes are absolutely amazing. There's a scene where he's eating while listening to the FL talk about the fifty things she wants to do before she dies.

The cons in this drama is ML assistant, he is more antagonist than the actual villain. He always interrupted ML goodwill and make misunderstanding more bigger.

Overall, the plot has many misunderstandings and plot holes, but they're resolved within a few episodes. The pretense of poverty and misdiagnosis aren't explained until the very last episode, and there's no unnecessary verbal sparring—it's all very satisfying to watch! The interactions between ML and FL are sweet, plentiful, and natural.

Recommended to watch.

The Glory Knock off version

The plot is actually very interesting and reminded me of K-Drama The Glory especially the hairdryer scene. But it was getting dragged and boring in the middle on this drama. Teng Zewen performance is average but her hatred was not quite shown well just like Song Hye Kyo's character. Sun Junhe's role is somewhat bland, even a little less impressive than the SML. This knock-off The Glory duanju character lack the resolve to seek revenge and can't bring themselves to do it. The dubbing are actually make this drama more bland than it should. It's better to see The Glory instead of this.

Actually it was better than second and third series.

I quite like Yunmiao so there is my review.

When I watched the second and third series, I felt the plot progression was too similar, and there was a lot of banter. I finished watching them, but the story wasn't as exciting as the first one, and it didn't leave much of an impression.

Supporting characters are treated as mere tools, their character development is extremely poor, and everyone feels like an NPC. The costumes, props, and sets are increasingly subpar, the number of extras is dwindling, and the large-scale scenes are becoming increasingly awkward.

I think Wang Xiaoyi should practice her lines; her tone of voice is so awkward.

There were many plot twists, and they were all generally resolved. There was banter, but the level was acceptable. This series tells two stories, and the Yun Miao regained some key memories.

Recommended to watch.
