Does someone know what's the name of the songs at the end of ep. 10 and 8 are?
This song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgAaAhFL4KM
I haven't been able to find an english name for this song yet, but figured out the artist is Temperature of Saying "Hi" featuring Sunwoo Jung-ah.

does anybody know drama similar to this one? ;(
You could try other dramas from the writer, Park Yeon-seon. If I'm being completely honest, the wonderful thing about this writer is that all her dramas are actually very different from one another, but they also all have a way of touching the audience on a more personal level than others. There's just something genuine about them. Mixed-up Investigative Agency, White Christmas & Alone in Love are my personal favorites from her, but Ms. Kim's Million Dollar Quest and Wild Romance are also pretty good.

Huh. I noticed that Nine is one of your favorite dramas though? Nine is actually written by the same writer of W. The premise here is a bit more out there so I get why it might not work for some people. I personally love it and have complete faith that the writer of Nine wouldn't just give a randomly written story, just one that has it's own set of rules & stretches boundaries. Oh well, to each their own :)

Well dammmmn. This is getting freaky. I've seriously been in a daze since watching episode 9 raw and I'm not sure subs are going to change that.

It's really good, it starts off slow but it's worth the wait. It's a must watch, you don't have to be a college…
Haha, 3 now! Healer's dad, mom (the older version), and young Moon-shik.

I had a little crush on Ji Il-joo in Healer, but now I'm falling for Son Seung-won (Moon-shik) in this. Haha, sometimes a different role can work wonders.

Does anyone know any dramas that are paced similarly to this with the same kind of suspenseful feel? I am dying…
Have you checked out Nine? It's a time-travel drama from this writer with lots of mind-bendy twists. It's a bit of a slower start, but at episode 4 it gets crazy good. Also Queen In Hyun's Man is another good time-travel drama from the writer.

Just an update on the status of next week's episodes: As of right now, MBC is planning on airing the 7th episode on the 10th as originally planned. Episode 8 is postponed and, from the sound of it, won't air until 2 weeks from then. I hope that they, at the very least, stick to this plan and don't surprise us with a sudden cancellation of ep 7. That will drive me crazy.

It would be nice if they could air at least an episode a week so that they can come back airing ep 9-10 back-to-back. Haha, for some reason I get bothered when the episodes get on an even-odd schedule, lol. I feel like it messes with the flow. Oh well.

You'd think a drama about an Olympic champion, even a doubly fictional one, would get to air even during the Olympics...

Seriously? What is the hype about? From what ppl wrote I expected some great plot twists, but there were none.…
"Up until now there are more questions than answers" - this pretty much sums up where we differ because I personally love to be at this place in episode 6.

Obviously, there isn't going to be a 'rational' explanation for a webtoon coming to life. It's fantasy so as long as the writer eventually establishes the drama's internal logic, I'll be game. As I writer myself, I've really been enjoying the ways that W explores and deconstructs dramatic structure, as well as the idea of what responsibilities creators have to the works they create and the fan bases they inspire. Most writers I know talk about how stories and characters tend to take on a life of their own, often going off in directions far different from what they originally intended. It’s fun to see this idea played out literally.

Anyway, it's totally fine to disagree with what I consider to be well-deserved hype :) I've definitely been there. Although I would argue that I have enough plot-experience and resilience against herd instinct to make an informed decision on the quality of a drama myself, I recognize I can't change your opinions on that matter.

Some of you people scare me, lol. There's no excuse for murder, like wth. He deserved it? No one deserves to be…
I'm definitely not excusing him. But I do sympathize with people who make that choice when they've been put through hell like he has. The world isn't black and white. Someone could kill their rapist and I'd sympathize with them. Someone could kill their abuser and I'd sympathize with them. This is because I'd understand that they only ever reached that point after going through immeasurable pain. I mean, can you seriously put yourself in Kang-chul's shoes and be sure you wouldn't do the same thing? I can't even imagine being in his position.

Tbh, I'm operating under the assumption that what he's done is going to have consequences. It's not like I'm saying, "Aw, it's okay. He deserved it. Go have your happy ending!". I want and expect Kang-chul to suffer with what he's done.

i didn't like episode 5. Like wtf he just killed her father, If i was in her father place i will be afraid like…
The father didn't just "try and end the manga". He stabbed him with his own two hands (and tried to repeatedly before Kang-chul even pulled the gun on him this episode). I'm not saying this absolves Kang-chul, but if you can put yourself in her father's place, then I guess I don't get why you can't put yourself in Kang-chul's. His whole world and concept of self collapsed on him. If your argument is that, because Kang-chul is a webtoon character, he doesn't have the right to exact justice on a 'real' person that tried to kill him, you can't really expect him to just accept that. He actually experienced every day of his life, including a hell of a lot of suffering for a killer that doesn't even exist within the story's fabric. I'd be a lot less lenient towards Kang-chul if he didn't give the father a chance to give him an ending he deserves, but he was ready to accept whatever fate as long as it gave him and his friends resolution. It's clear (and understandable) that Oh Seung Mo has lost it so I get why he's so ruthless towards Kang-chul. But, I also completely understand why his continued disregard for Kang-chul's existence + all his "you're predestined not to shoot" crap would drive Kang-chul to the edge.

Wow... This story is really unpredictable! After watching episode 5, I have a real irky feeling towards Kang Chul's…
It's not like he's capable of killing innocent people. I may not consider the father completely guilty considering the circumstances, but it's unfair to say that he's innocent of attempted murder in Kang-chul's eyes. It's weird, but something about that ending made my heart break for Kang-chul. His emotional struggle this episode really got to me and I'm actually more invested in him now, despite being scared for what he could become.

What he did was horrible, but his whole life and all the pain he's experienced has just been an entertainment to "real" people, and to find out that there was never a planned resolution? Not only did the father stab him and try to kill him repeatedly, he couldn't even offer him closure when he asked for it. That's some serious psychological torture right there. I found Kang-chul's request for any sort of ending to be tragic and reasonable. Even after all that, he was going to walk away, but OSM had to challenge him in the worst way possible. I just find it sad that Kang-chul would be so desperate to go against his predestined character as to compromise himself entirely. I don't think he's going to take it lightly either, judging from the next episode preview. I certainly feel conflicted about where they're taking his character, but I'm also a bit in awe. I actually think I came away from this episode caring about him more than I did when I started watching, tbh.

I love the writer, cast, director, and premise for this drama so I couldn't wait for subs to check out the first episode. I actually was surprised by how much I didn't need them. The conflicts in this show are so relatable. I'm loving the chemistry between the 5 girls already and looks like we'll be getting a little bit of romance on the side, without it becoming the focus, which I like.

I do have to say...for the cast, I came here mainly for Han Yeri, Park Eun-bin & Ryu Hwa-young because they all have impressed me in the past. But Park Hye-soo's character ended up being the main focus this episode. Which is totally okay because she surprised me with how quickly she got me invested in her character. Uh, she made me cry at the end and I didn't even know exactly what she was saying. Looking forward to seeing more from her.

Can't wait for subs. Looks like dramafever is getting on it :)

Loved Oh Hae Young Again! Oh Hae Young Again has a 2 episode special next week before the next drama airs. Another…
Really makes me wonder how it would have done in the Fri-Sat slot. Here's to hoping they'll remain the highest rated Mon-Tues drama for quite some time :)

So, is this the drama of the year or what?
15 and 16 were fantastic episodes for me. But, then again, I really enjoyed the character/relationship growth in these episodes. May not be the drama of the year for everyone, but it's close to becoming mine. I wouldn't base your decision on just one opinion :)

Title Beautiful Gong Shim Spoiler
I feel like the writers are killing everything good about this drama. The comedy has turned melo, the bromance…
It does feel like all the best parts of this drama are suddenly taking a backseat. And, frankly, because I don't care much about the backstory, I have a hard time stomaching Ahn Dan Tae's change in behavior. I just want him to be the lovable, goofball he always has been. Right now, the only thing keeping me hooked is my growing love for Gong Shim. This drama better learn to play to it's strengths.

When Oh Hae Yeong #1 FINALLY found out the truth and still chose to go after him like a stupid doormat, that was…
@manicmuse You put into words exactly how I feel...about everything. I think it's very easy to simplify these character's actions, but, if you look deeper, there's a whole lot more going on with them. I also think people really need to remember Oh Hae Young's resolve from her episode 3 monologue. She has actually never acted like this in a relationship before because of her low self-esteem. She decides she has enough inner strength to put herself on the line emotionally at the start of this drama and that explains a lot of her behavior going forward.

the 2 ppl that rated it already are goats
@kdramasinpajamas When this comment was made the rating for this drama was 4.3 because 1 of the 2 people rated it a 1. I think we (or, at least, I) take more issue with people like that, who rate the drama ridiculously low before the first episode is even subbed. I personally don't mind people rating dramas as they go and then changing the rating as the quality improves or decreases. Unfortunately, when people rate the drama a 1, it pushes everyone else to rate it early too because no one likes seeing a promising drama get a bad rep.
