Honestly, I really liked this drama and I still do, but I feel like there's one episode left and there's a lot unresolved and unexplored. I wanted a bit more from this drama because I think it had the potential to be sweet, funny, and, well, at least mildly satisfying, if not amazing. But now it might not turn out all that satisfying and that worries me...

I'm not sure why the brother's loveline and Young mi's mother are given so much screen time when there are characters and relationships I cared much more about...

This is all I'll say. I read all the comments up and down this page. Had you merely voiced your opinion about the drama, I'm sure no one would have minded. But your comments implied that the opinions of people who rated this drama highly are somehow lesser, more superficial than yours. So, in the future, if you want people to stop replying to your comments, stop writing ones meant to insult.

"Fans are too biased" - Yeah, but I became a huge fan because I disagree with your points. And I became biased because I watched it, and judged it by my own standards. And I didn't rate it mostly for Ji Chang-wook, I rated it mostly for Song Ji-nah, the writer, because I found the written characters and their trajectories to be refreshing. While I wouldn't call the drama ground-breaking, it gave me everything I never knew I wanted. If you disagree, then just move on to other dramas.

You know, I actually think that's kind of the point. And that's actually why I like it. I take it as looking at the drama through Jung-hoo's eyes. His family was ruined because his dad and his friends dedicated their life to taking down the Farmers. And now that he finally has people he cares for, he doesn't want to go down the same path. He cares more about protecting the people he loves, than society.

Even up to the last moment, he only decided to take down the Elder because he had to survive. I actually find that kind of awesome in it's own way. He just sorta wings it. Pretends to join Elder, fakes his death as the murderer Park Bong-soo and takes Elder down in the process, thus freeing himself. Then again, this drama was never about them taking down every single bad guy for me, but more about them freeing themselves from the past and taking down those who get in their way and keep them from being happy. It would be completely unrealistic for a guy like Jung-hoo, who just wanted to start living a normal life as soon as possible with his girl, to just suddenly go after every single Farmer, thus risking himself and those he cares about in the process.

That said, at the end, it seemed to me that they are still hard at work taking down the Farmers one step at a time. And that's all I needed to see to be satisfied.

It's funny, but I actually like the ending better than City Hunter, precisely for these reasons. I find it more human and, frankly, more realistic.

- Huh. Interesting. I just find the story in Healer to be much better written than in all these dramas you mentioned (and also disagree that the story 'stopped for eps'). I could barely complete RP and BOF. So I think it isn't how many dramas we've watched or that Healer is a 'basic drama with nothing special', it's just that we have different tastes.

I loved the romance in this because I thought that, for once, it is about more than two people falling in love, but about people coming together and finding a place in the world. I also felt like the message of the drama was that you should be falling in love and protecting those you care for instead of going up against the Big Bads at the expense of those you love (like their parents did). All they did in this drama was for each other's sake, not for some grand aims like that of their parents. The only reason Jung-hoo even cared about taking the Elder down was because they wouldn't leave 'his people' alone. I liked that realism. This is a case where I think the romance actually enhanced the story.

Did you end up finishing the episode? Because he actually has a moment of clarity and drives her back. They even do this funny dance thing and go back to how they were before. I think he won't be acting like that any more.

How is any one person's opinion more biased than the next though? I gave this drama a 10 because that's how much I enjoyed it, simple as that. It's the first drama in a while that made me feel like I didn't want it to end. I can understand someone having a different reaction than me, but this drama got the 8.9 rating fair and square because it simply made the majority of people watching it want to give it a higher rating than a 7. It's not overrated at all, in my eyes.

LOL, a comment below seems to think my fan-girling will end just because this drama is over...FAT CHANCE :P Marathon time!

I'm sobbing right now. Not because the ending wasn't amazing and wonderful, but because it's all over. I feel like Young-shin last episode, all "how will I see you?!" Seriously, though. What will I do without Healer every Monday and Tuesday. I don't know if I've ever felt this way about a drama before...

Agh. Episode 18!!!! AHHHH. Someone needs to lock that secretary up in a huge, disheveled library for eternity, please. Ugh, well at least this is episode 18. This means that episode 19 and 20 will be the final road to happiness (and the end *sob*). I just hope no one's lost along the way! Please, I love all the characters too much (well except the secretary...and all the other bad guys).

Watched it live! I was so right to have faith in this writer (especially regarding that last cliffhanger!). She can officially do no wrong! Episode 17 is amazeballs, yo.

Still can't get over this drama. I just love it to pieces. And I miss Gong Ki-tae and Joo Jang-mi!

I actually don't mind it at all either. And I haven't even noticed her doing it since the beginning of episode 5 anyway. I'm loving her character.

This drama gets so much better after episode 4, both the characters and the humor. I made it to that point, was thisclose to dropping it, but decided to just continue. Now? It's my favorite drama of all-time. And it has nothing to do with the humor and has everything to do with how unexpectedly heartwarming this drama is. No, seriously. It's kind of amazing, the journey this drama takes you on, because you don't really expect to feel any emotional investment...and then all of a sudden even the villains are tugging at your heartstrings! Anyone who passes this drama by, is simply missing out on experiencing something very special.

What's wrong with her reaction to him? She was awesome in episode 16! If it's about how you think she's reacting to him at the very end, I mean, I don't buy for a second that she misunderstood him. She knows he wouldn't do that.

JCW and PMY were spotted filming together & she has her hair clip in. Which means they're working together! This week suddenly got much easier to get through :D

I wrote a comment before that people should only watch until 38 minutes in and then they should pretend that the episode ends there. Then you will spend the whole week in a pretty good place. You watch that cliffhanger? You'll be in for a much harder wait then you had after episode 12, believe me.

@Haven Actually, I read that JCW is planning on enlisting at the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016 and that he will be working as hard as possible until then so I think there's a good chance we'll get more projects from him :) I'm just hoping for one drama that I really want to watch!

Anyone who can't wait to watch episode 16, but doesn't want to spend the whole week in complete anguish, I suggest watching only 38 minutes of it. Once you get to that scene, you'll realize why it's a great place to stop. Everything else that happens from that point on WILL NOT GET RESOLVED AND IT WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY.
