one of the best dramas of 2025 which didn't overly dip in quality as episodes progressed and kept the campiness of a webtoon adaptation. great direction, cinempatography and acting. so many dramas this year started off great and then just bombed in the end, this one i didn't even skip or speed up, had me hooked

give yoojung ALL the awards. i need her to SWEEP next award season. i loved this project for her because it just showed she's in a league of her own. she can do ANY type of character. fuck, i had chills so many times throughout the drama because she's just too good. and a goddamn beautiful face to boot. what a masterclass

i thought so too initially but your ideal vision for the character isn't how its portrayed in the webtoon- its clear that ahjin is kind of a reckless loser once she becomes an adult- shortsighted and not really someone you can still root for because she becomes evil without a cause. its literally how the character was written in the source material (evident from the original webtoon ending as well.) so i think yoojung really portrayed that character well.

kim seonu is annoying the shit out of me, why are the writers making the plot so shit

junho's an excellent actor. i loved the cinematography, setting and second couple. but yes, the second half of the show is a drag... i still don't fully understand the motivations of the villains

does anyone who the actor who plays mark choi (the guy hyeonjun was doing business with)?
also why do kdramas cast people who can't really speak englush for characters who are supposed to be fluent in english.. i couldn't understand him at all lol i understood hyeonjun's english more. i couldn't even understand his korean

she doesn't 'keep winning', its almost tragic how she never once gets to be normal or whatever cause her circumstances go from a hell she was born into to a hell of her own creation, watch the show with some more nuance lol
