i wish they had actually developed kyungnam as a character better- we never see his extended pov, or moments where he's more than just one note... always same expressions and feelings
a lot of the 'real life' scenes were soooo filler and the dialogue really annoyed me.. they would ask each other 'what's wrong' and 'are you okay' llike 2000 times to each other in the course of just one episode
the last episode conflict was annoying imo yes its realistic to an extent- how people can treat each other when dating and they're annoyed w each other/ giving the silent or cold treatment but after fighting to be w her so much he was kind of being an ass wouldn't you be flattered that the girl you're in love with has made some guy who looks just like you lol
i was convinced the leads had no chemistry in the first half- thats because it really did come out of nowhere that the ML liked her, and these back story scenes did not convince me he was so in love with her latter half they kinda did but it left so much to be desired i just feel that their visuals aren't necessarily the best match in the sense that they don't complement each other's visuals perfectly enough for me
very fun and silly romcom but i really wish the execution had been done better as some other comments and reviews have mentioned, it would have been so interesting to more deeply explore the ethics of the technology, how it exactly works, why or why not its better than irl dating its not shown enough why something like this could be bad
on acting: jisoo was decent in snowdrop. i didn't watch newtopia. here it takes a couple episodes to get used to her and she's not bad in the comedic/embarrassing scenes, in fact she's kinda decent and she grows on you by the end of it. however she REALLY needs to work on showcasing a better emotional range- her crying scenes are borderline unwatchable. i feel like she could improve in the future
seo inguk: i know this guy can act, so whatever performance he gave as kyungnam had to be the directing and writing- so my gripe is moreso with how the character itself was written- very neutral and flat:?
supporting cast was good! i love the actress who plays jiyeon, loved her in trauma code- she's so pretty yet her expressions and comedic acting is simply excellent
writing got kinda convoluted but i still enjoyed the show. they could've shown muhee's trauma/anxious avoidant attachment even w/o this seemingly random morbid backstory abt her parents... also what was the point in her parents still being alive, and her not keeping in contact with hojin for that period? why was there some random redemption for the aunt and uncle?
I feel that this morbid murderous mom subplot could have been slightly better done idk the genre felt like it kept switching... but even without that, i feel they could have shown the course of the romantic trip show and messy lovelines well
Man Kim Seonho served PREMIUM yearning MY GOD THIS MAN'S EYES, HIS SMILE, HIS DIMPLES...... i was just cheesing hard every time he was on screen Younjung is just freaking goregous and cute

his chemistry was better with FL
