choo youngwoo's facecard is seriously something else.... and yihyun is SOOO cute! i'm really liking the premise, I'm glad I'll have this to watch after unwritten seoul concludes~ just what I was looking for!
WASTED POTENTIAL!! That's all I have to say. The drama is beautifully shot, the cast has great acting chops- but script fell totally flat, pacing was off, and a LOT of time was spent on stupid arcs instead of the arcs introduced in the first few episodes.
- Seriously, they could've just got rid of the whole ex arc. YYS' face was just pissing me off. - Choonseung x Myeongsuk romance hinted at heavily but went completely nowhere- not that it was even required, I thought their platonic bond was good enough - Ten episodes simply did not cut it- pushing all the heavy explanations to the last episode was so lame - They made Beomwoo so pathetic in Sapporo it was a waste of time - I don't see why Yeonju needed the whole reconciling with the Le Murir guy + closure with ex nonsense.... didn't even explain to us why she would so easily just take the fall for her ex - We should've got more of Han Sunwoo!! - Showing everyone just get a 'good guy/happy ending' arc in the end felt forced when they didn't even do the labour of showing the process of getting there in the first place- very abrupt - Unlike other opinions here I think the leads definitely did have chemistry but we barely got any actual romance even though Minsi and Haneul gave us beautiful fleeting moments- THESE TWO HAVE THE FACES FOR A ROMCOM IM SOOOO MAD IT DIDN'T GET ENOUGH
eh.... i literally came and stayed only for junyoung. where's the rom part of the romcom? had some potential but man waste of time if you're looking for something of quality to watch they wasted both eunji and junyoung's acting chops on some cheap, tacky comedy that I can't believe they thought would be good in big 2025
haven't read the webtoon, but will they later reveal how eui-gyeom knows how to fight so well? it seems quite random that he knows how to beat every level of bully in the school....
this is such an odd fucking direction to take the plot in, ugh... why was their date so awkward? why couldn't the ex just have been a brief cameo? YYS' face is pissing me off... why would BW fly all the way there .... there's so much else to wrap up, what a waste of episodes! There's still BW's rivalry with his brother, what will happen with Jang Chef, the random arsonist plot early on..... what about all those!! This was sooo promising it could've just been a healing drama, even with that there could have been space for the arsonist and rivalry plot but then so much time wasted on ex plot for NOOO reason... FL is so neither here nor there with how she treats BW
soooo similar to WHC and SG (doesn't help they all came out in the span in 5 months this year either) but ykw I eat them up either way so......... (WHC still on top tho!!)
it has a looooot of tropes common w samdalri ... its derivative, but also the alcoholic premise is unique.... don't quite know what to make of how lightly the mom's disapproval is portrayed when the rest of her family members are alcoholics
man..... junyoung cannot be messing up his filmography w stuff like this, especially after such stunning performances as the support cast in various dramas... he needs GOOD projects where he's the main lead
I hope its a good romcom and isn't too trashy.... junyoung's projects have been certified hits so far and really showcased his range so I hope this does the same
baekjin's character deserved more! ik its implied that cheongang killed him- but they never fully revealed his backstory which is annoying. Did he grow up in an orphanage, is that why he donates? What circumstances led him to start the Union? Is all this in the webtoon?
very enjoyable! love the new characters and how their relationships were shown. Though I agree with the other commenters about how this lacks the rawness of s1- fights felt and looked a lot more choreographed, not as engaging. This show is literally toxic yaoi lmao loved it. is there a possibility of s3? Although the choreographed parts and rawness would further decrease in a s3 (cheongang arc), I'd still love to see it- imagine Suho, Baku, Seongje all interacting..... yESSSS

- I don't see why Yeonju needed the whole reconciling with the Le Murir guy + closure with ex nonsense.... didn't even explain to us why she would so easily just take the fall for her ex
- We should've got more of Han Sunwoo!!
- Showing everyone just get a 'good guy/happy ending' arc in the end felt forced when they didn't even do the labour of showing the process of getting there in the first place- very abrupt
