It's like your parents showing up for your recital at school. Even though you tell them not to come coz it's embarrassing,…
Ahh this is such a nice analogy!! Makes so much sense, awww this just makes me view this scene with so much more adoration! 🥺🥰

Btw, does anyone know if there are chances of a love line between Sangwon and Kyunghoon? The only thing I know (SPOILERS FOR THE WEBTOON) is that Sangwon fell in love with Myungha, and it seems this is gonna happen in the drama as well 👀

Can someone answer this for me since I am dumb and didn't comprehend this scene very well (SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 4):

Did Yeowoon start liking Myungha more because he went to watch his competition? Like, he said later that now his motivation for running is because he expects someone to be waiting for him at the end of the line. Does that mean that when he was feeling hopeless and lonely moments before the competition, since Myungha went there and cheered for him, that made him start seeing him in another light? I mean, he went from -99 affection to rapidly increasing his affection for Myungha after that scene xD

Welp, I think I made a mistake of watching this after I just finished A Breeze of Love and Our Dating Sim just yesterday. My head was filled with cutesy romance and coming to watch this made me get whiplash 😭 But that's on me for not reading the synopsis and reviews properly to know what to expect.

The acting was superb, the premise of the story was good, but overall I think the production/directing and flow of the story could be a bit better. I was confused in a lot of the scenes and the lack of actual communication from the leads was becoming more and more frustrating to watch. I ended up dropping this drama after episode 7 cuz I couldn't stand the plot anymore, but overall I still applause the writer/director and the cast for trying something different for the BL genre.

This had a more realistic approach to BL, something we barely see in this genre. And tackling mental health issues is no easy task to do in any type of media. I may have not enjoyed watching this series but I commend everyone involved in it for trying something new for K-BL. And the fact that we got a running time of 30-40 minutes per episode and 10 episodes in total??? Truly amazing, hopefully other K-Bls will start having longer lengths as well!

Not gonna lie, out of all K-BLs I watched so far, I think Ki Tae and Wan's relationship dynamics are my favorite of all! The friends to strangers to enemies to lovers was fantastic in this one and I seriously loved how they could switch from bickering to all lovey-dovey hahah these two were simply adorable and also portrayed very realistic.
All I wish for now is a second season, I need it desperately cuz I am obsessed with them!!

Holy shit I never thought the day would come where I would have second lead syndrome on a BL kdrama, but here we are. Seungjoo was so precious! I am so glad he got a (seemingly) love interest in the end 🥺 Hopefully we can get a second season in which we can see his romance bloom as well!
But as much as I felt bad for Seungjoo, Dohyun and Dongwook had such crazy chemistry god I loved their love story to bits! The cinematography in this is top tier too <3 It's a 10/10 for me definitely, I haven't watched such a good K-BL drama in a long while!

The pacing or editing could definitely have been a lot better to have a better build up, but I can understand…
Thank you so much for the explanation! Now that makes more sense. The writing and direction really could have been handled a little better in explaining their actions, but overall now I get why they got pissed at each other. The pacing felt kinda all over the place, hence why it could end up confusing the viewers

Tbh maybe I am just dumb here, but I really don't get the issues that made them fight, both times, at all. Like, I don't understand why those even bothered them to begin with that would warrant such an explosive anger on both parts lol

In terms of cinematography, acting and writing (until the last two episodes), season 2 really delivered more than season 1. But I have a feeling that Seojoon and Jiwoo rekindled way too fast and it felt rushed. Don't get me wrong I loved seeing them being all domestic and cute, and the make out scene? Chefs kiss. But damn I wish they could have given us a more emotional and impactful scene of them rekindling their relationship, instead of making it seem like "oh hey the episodes are finishing already so I guess we need to have them make up quickly so we can have some lovey dovey scenes and then say good bye".
It felt bland in comparison to the rest of the drama and I srsly think they did Jiwoo dirty by making him look like some spoiled child that can't take rejection for more than 2 seconds. As much as I loved seeing Jiwoo expressing his problems and struggles, he still hurt Seojoon, and he should have done more stuff in order for Seojoon to accept him back

people who "are so shy and introverted" and relate to jiwoo: you are probably ruining someone's life. change.
Jiwoo being "shy and introverted" does not impact his relationship with others, but his low self-esteem, self-hate and ghosting issues does, and that isn't something that can be easily changed. I think people who understand Jiwoo here does not justify his actions at all, because whatever issues he may have does not justify him hurting others in the process, but are only trying to bring light that relationships aren't just about love and rainbows, everyone has their issues they need to figure out, and Jiwoo is a big example of that, for better or for worse

As a person that also has low self-esteem/self-hate and ghosting issues, unfortunately I can actually understand why Jiwoo felt the way he did during his relationship with Seojoon. The way he saw how Seojoon was just so accepting and so understanding of him, while always trying his best for their relationship to work, it all probably just made Jiwoo hate himself more exactly because even after seeing all the good things Seojoon provides him, he still felt something was missing, and he felt guilty for feeling that way. It may not make sense for some people, but our minds sometimes just sabotages us in the meanest ways. I am not trying to justify Jiwoo's actions towards Seojoon (he IS being extremely mean to him), but I can actually undestand where he is coming from.

Btw, Ep 6's ending scene and the comparison between Jiwoo feeling lonely while being with Seojoon versus Jiwoo saying he didn't feel lonely while he was dating Sungyoon. I could be wrong (and very biased lol) but I think the reason Jiwoo says he is lonely while being with Seojoon isn't because he disliked dating him, actually the opposite, he loves him too much to the point that he knows he needs to change himself, he feels he needs to become a better person in order to be worthy of being with Seojoon, and that thought scares him. And he probably became more possessive of Seojoon as time went by (as confirmed by how Seojoon asked if Jiwoo was still jealous of Pilhyun), which in turn makes Jiwoo himself feel like he is trying to monopolize Seojoon.

In the end, Jiwoo's biggest enemy is himself, and if he doesn't come to terms with his own issues and tries to change how he views himself, then he will always just keep on sabotaging his own and Seojoon's happiness and their chances of being together. Is it fair that he hurts Seojoon in the whole process? No it is not, but that's how relationships and human minds works sometimes, and considering Seojoon, I am very sure he knows and understand where Jiwoo is coming from and he accepts him for the way he is. Seojoon loves him dearly and we can only hope that slowly Jiwoo can also start loving himself just as much.

I don't think i understand what was going on when Seojun was sleeping and Jiwoo was vacuuming the floors. Was…
Someone here pointed out that Jiwoo was having a hard time falling asleep cuz he knows Seojoon is nearby hence he got nervous, while Seojoon fell asleep easily for the exact same reason, because Jiwoo was nearby and he felt comfortable :')
