ah yes i feel something missing about junho. its his courage to call out people who belittle her, hopefully this…
I hope we learn more about him - I think he also catches himself when he has certain views about her. He thanks her for explaining how she navigates the world when it comes to people lying to her or telling her the truth. I personally think that's why he wants to be smart with HOW or WHEN he tells her he likes her.
I can’t watch MW continuously be an ableist 💩 so either someone educate him on the matter & get some character…
It's so frustrating BUT necessary. I really want Junho breaking it down for him why that kind of mindset needs to GO. Sadly, Minwoo represents the majority in Korea, I'd say! I think it's changing...
OMG..!! THats not jow autistic talk or walk all the time. No way. Not every autistic person have same behaviour.…
But its a SPECTRUM. And they aren't saying she represents every autistic person. This character is someone who happens to walk this way and have certain behaviours.... Go ahead and drop it, but its rare for a Korean drama to have this and you're totally missing out on the following episodes that explores others who are autistic.
Loved both episodes 5 & 6. I appreciated what episode 5 revealed - that she also has ambition and doesn't want to be looked down, even though what she did was wrong.
I feel like these episodes are slowly revealing bits of Jun Ho and Young Woo's back story and I'm here for it. It makes me stay focused on the show :)
Hmm I think it's fine to like or dislike it, but atleast based on what I saw, your purpose on watching this drama…
so you think in our society neurotypical folks aren't attracted to someone who may have a developmental disability?? that its disturbing or unrealistic?
I needed something lighthearted and endearing, and this is it!!! I grew up learning the word "이상한" meant "strange" or "weird" so I was nervous this wouldn't depict folks on the spectrum well, but wow, I'm really impressed. They've taken really good care of each character and person they bring onto the show. It's so precious.
I know most people are unhappy with the ending, and I think it wasn't executed as well, but I am pretty satisfied with it. The whole point of the show, for me, was the journey and those moments they had with one another. I never cared about the ending and was soaking every moment between YJ and HD along with the friendships that were built along the way. I think they could have gave us a bit more of a closure since there were some loopholes.
It does happen all the time but I completely agree that it was unnecessary as she already has other issues to…
I think I’m frustrated because SK has made it very difficult for women, esp teen moms and young single moms to keep their baby. Zero support. But this show made it sound like all these moms who give up their babies for adoption are villains and that’s not true. The country has done a terrible job of supporting women so they can keep their child. One of SKs biggest export at one time was babies…. It felt like a backwards and outdated way to talk about adoption.
Sadly, Minwoo represents the majority in Korea, I'd say! I think it's changing...
