the first half was definitely stronger than the second half, and the romance wasn’t as developed as i would have liked. but ouroad have nice chemistry, and it was a much better production than love in translation. one of the better thai bls we’ve had this year, although that’s not saying much as it has been a pretty bad year imo.
LUAT (along with the next prince) are my most anticipated shows for 2025. fans have been patiently waiting since 2022 so i hope dmd does justice to both series.

50Q does seem like alot, znn were talking about how filming is very detailed and they only film 3-4 scenes a day (whereas with cutie pie they used to film about 10 scenes a day). they’re not sure yet of the actual number of Q’s. i think they will diverge from the book alot tbh… which does make me a bit nervous 🫣

fr. at most i would say gmmtv had 3 successful bls this year, and none of them were smash hits. now would be the time to really push their gl pairings before the market becomes too saturated but gmmtv are way too complacent and wrapped up in their male artists. they desperately want another brightwin but i don't see it happening ever.
they announced 6 bls last time so 9 seems a bit crazy? i'm hoping for 3 gls, i heard milklove will have more than 1 show 😭😭 perhaps gmm have a gl ensemble show in the works. june said she's got a new partner too.
well this is major criminal case. there’s another famous MC/actor involved who already has been pulled from all his shows and replaced, his upcoming show (masked singer spinoff) has been postponed indefinitely and his contract with Workpoint terminated after his arrest. min doesn’t have an artist contract with one31, i believe she’s freelance but i think that gives you an idea of how other channels have reacted to this.
i’m not an expert on the thai industry by any means but there’s already rumours that one31 will pull this show from airing. we’ll just have to wait and see. i do think maybe it will continue to air on streaming services though as they have a contract with netflix. it is a shame for the production team and other actors but as this is such a serious case, they need to act accordingly. there are so many victims and some have even died. one31 will also need to consider the negative impact for advertisers or sponsors as well while the show is still airing on tv. i can’t imagine those companies are too happy right now.
there was a case in my country a few years ago where the lead actor had SA allegations against him, the drama was pulled from tv but still finished airing on streaming services.
KP once they start filming they were regular in filming and finished within two & half months. What is going on…
it’s not a period series btw. but i agree, with this current filming schedule we definitely won’t get tnp until well into 2025. even znn are saying 2025 now. dmd rely on znn so heavily as their cashcow unfortunately their schedule is always jam packed and i guess they don’t have time to film alot of Q’s per month.
KP cast could dedicate themselves to filming back then as they probably didn’t have many other commitments. even if znn don’t have events 99% of the time they’re still working on something. their schedule has pretty much been like this since 2022. 😔
cutie pie was already over 30Q so tnp could be up to 40Q imo.
