Then the show goes, "wait, we’re not done, let’s add rich people." Now suddenly we’re in this glossy auction world where everyone looks expensive and emotionally unstable. Paintings worth billions, clients who drop money like it’s pocket change, and coworkers who would absolutely ruin your life over a promotion. It’s like gossip girl but everyone might actually kill you.
AND THEN. han seol-ah. I don’t trust this woman's breathing pattern. She’s too calm, like unnatural calm. like “i already planned your funeral” calm. popping pills, smiling at weird moments, saying just enough to keep people hooked and confused, pretending to like seafood like her life depends on it. Every time you think "okay, she’s innocent," she does something weird.
Also, why do all her boyfriends keep dying? I’m not saying she did it, I’m just saying if I saw her on a dating app, I would log out of the internet permanently.
And the show keeps messing with me because every time I go "okay, she’s guilty," she suddenly looks sad and fragile, and I feel like a bad person. Then she does something unhinged again, like smiling at a billboard, and I’m like "no, never mind, lock her up immediately."
and woo-seok??? this man starts off like “i will expose her” and now he’s basically her emotional support detective. Suddenly he’s like, "maybe she’s a victim..." Based on what???
The pacing is also wild because sometimes nothing happens except intense staring and cryptic lines like everyone thinks they’re in a poetry slam. And then suddenly something insane happens, and I’m pulled right back in like an idiot.
AND THEY START FAKE DATING🤡
I lost it. I actually lost it. Because why would you pretend to date your main suspect unless you are deeply unwell? And the worst part is, it works. It should not work this well, but it does. i hate how much i enjoy it.
And Seol-ah just casually admits things like she’s bored. Like girl, what are you doing? Are you confessing or flirting? Pick one.
anyway i don’t know what the truth is anymore. She’s either a victim, a mastermind, or both at the same time which honestly feels correct.
Honestly, the show is a little chaotic, a little dramatic, and occasionally ridiculous, but it knows how to keep me watching.
I agree though. The idea itself is strong enough that someone will eventually make a drama that really digs into it.
And I completely understand checking the ending first 😅 dramas have emotionally traumatized us too many times for blind trust at this point. Wishing you lots of good drama watches wherever you are too ✨
