The best character for me is the brother. He's come a long way since the very beginning. He really turned it around and I love how supportive and caring he is. That whole bankbook scene really melted my heart.
I want to understand the viewpoint of people who are supporting joo ik and Jina , Ones who are not judging right…
My view is that both were wrong, but more so Hyun Gyu. Why did he ask JI to break up with her over text? He clearly didn't like her enough to do it himself and he knew she was sitting outside in the rain waiting for him and still ignored her, that's really messed up. JI I think at the time was trying to be a good friend but knew what HG was doing was wrong. This whole triangle is messy but this past episode he left her alone for 3 months to sort out her feelings etc. But she also knew getting back together with HG was a no-go since she only knows 18 year old him, not the present him and once she got her head out of the past, I don't think she really liked present him. JI knew she was stuck and never going to move on so he helped her in his own no nonsense kinda way through her writing since that's how she expresses herself. This is just my thoughts on it. I do think their storyline doesn't make a ton of sense and not really needed, but I'm just going along with it because you know in dramaland you gotta have that second lead etc.
Okay I'm probably in the minority and I'm only on episode 25, can someone tell me if it gets better? Right now I'm feeling nothing for the main leads, I feel like they're more best buds than anything. I like both of them but together, nothing.
This is my first drama with the FL. Does her voice normally sound like she's baby talking? There's a couple of times when she wasn't, but it's taking some time to get used to.
I can't believe we're half way through and we're still getting 5 minutes at the end to try and piece together what happened in the past 5 years. Ugh. I hope this isn't like this until the end, because it's very annoying.
I can't wait until we can stop getting just 2 minutes at the end to try and piece together what happened throughout the years. Hopefully they'll move on from the past and keep it moving in the present.
Lawyer basically wants someone to take care of him, he's kinda old fashion in his thinking. He thought he wanted cool and flashy, married her and got tired of it very fast.
Professor is pretty much a fan boy and the younger, prettier actress is paying attention to him and now he has stars in his eyes.
The doctor, I'm not sure on his angle yet. He's a slick one for sure. He seems more of a father figure to his mistress than a partner. She drives me crazy.
Then you got the old lady over here slowly killing her husband and pretty much wants a deeper relationship with her step son. Ew.
Last is the mysterious producer and I'm not sure how he fits into all of this. Not sure why he's even in the story to be honest.
When can we get out of flashback hell? Inquiring minds want to know! When's the revenge coming? It's hard to keep going with this long dragged out flashbacks. Can we please keep it pushing in the present and activate revenge mode?
How is this getting a second season? What more could possibly happen? There's 4 episodes left, isn't that enough time to wrap everything up? Besides the married couples, what's with the producer? Why is his character so mysterious? They've pretty much have done nothing with him.
4 days later and I'm still table flipping mad about episode 16. Only thing that got me through it was Mimi in that adorable outfit. That's what I'll choose to remember 16 by, not that dumpster fire of death. Do-Re-Me no thank you!
