Based on the * note during the class placement match after signal song it's 70% master's evaluation and 30% star creators evaluation (views and likes of their fancam). I think they compared C trainees score to those for K trainees instead of it just being among their own that's why so many C trainees got eliminated since most of them are not well known to the public so their views + likes may be lower compared to so many K trainees who were in K-pop groups or trainees in agencies who have participated in survival shows before. I find that not disclosing that fact to the audience is also weird of mnet bc if we knew that then the views + likes of C trainees we liked may have been higher. Although for me just because the views and likes were low for a trainee, they should not have been eliminated after just the signal song. It usually takes after the 2nd test for the audience to start having a solid line up since we will get to focus more on how they can perform/work with others when given enough time to practice.

Okay fair if you think Junseo is not stable at all but I think the choreo and high notes for signal song plays a huge part in why most contestants are not that stable even though they can sing. Leo and Sangwon are good and deserve the all star for me based on their audition because they practiced that one longer. I think it's not fair to harshly judge the trainees for signal song performance since they usually learn those for only 3 days and even if you're a kpop idol, people have different capacities or learning curves for new songs. Idols are still humans at the end of the day and not perfect. Only a few are extremely talented to learn dances or songs so quickly. I'm not biased towards K group but watching C group's attitude/work ethic may have also influenced their rankings btw. I think though that mnet was unfair with how they made all of us think they were debuting 1 K and 1 C group so it means there will inevitably be less C trainees to make it because this is a Korean show after all and they have to sing in Korean and promote in SK. The votes are 50% Korea and 50% global and it is not strange that Koreans will vote for other Koreans more than other nationalities just like how in Starlight Boys (iQiyi show) they debuted Chinese trainees (who weren't that good) in the top rankings and Koreans who were really good debuted in the lower ranks.
