yes i get he's trying to seduce but doesn't excuse the times chi cheng tries to kiss him and he has always tried to push him away but chi cheng always forces him and makes him try to "submit" to what he wants idk i just think his character is the very definition of rich guy who thinks he can get whatever he wants and i hope he really stops doing that soon

Ep 3 thoughts: More background on Emmaly since everything is still confusing, but lowkey it's giving Hogwarts with the different houses but also The Hunger Games with the palace being The Capitol, but instead of the citizens fighting, it's the royals who want the throne for themselves. Basically they're like the tributes who their citizens watch from outside. I think the king is kinda cruel with how he wanted to tell Khanin that Thatdanai is dead when he didn't gather proof and just went, "Nah, Khanin needs to toughen up and leave behind his past." Loved the part though with how Khanin was progressive by fighting for equality in the fencing competition, which Ava is surely thankful for and I hope she becomes an ally for him in the end.

that was a good last ep as always smartboom are such good actors though i wish they showed us their wedding but i believe they might have a special ep especially with how it ended with jade offering akin to play a role again for a movie? overall 9.5/10 series!!

i also sometimes look at the cinematography like the lighting, editing, sound design and the lines more technically since i studied that in my communication course in college lol i need to ignore those if i feel a show somehow lacks any of those so i can finish it 😅
