they should've thrown in a hot bodyguard or something for the crown princess if they were going to subject me…
πππππ yeah a hot tall bodyguard, with a poker face, standing by her side at all times. and then we get to see the flashbacks of how he was there for her every time and his undying love.
Finally I'm starting to appreciate the Crown Princess!! Yay! I LOVE that she is fighting back and fighting for what she wants, and I hope she wins the divorce. And I LOVE the other women as well. I wanted her to have a good ending with the CP but I loved her decision to leave him in the end. The women in this drama are so badass. I think the drama is focusing more on women's power?? And I love how the Crown Princess's two SILs supported her through her decision. And I also want Hwa Ri to marry her guy ASAP before some kind of plot twist comes in the middle causing them to separate. Aaaand I kinda feel sorry for the Crown Prince, in the end he just wanted someone to rely on and someone who makes him happy, but hopefully he will get through and become a better king or something.
Can some one explain what this is about to me? The synopsis makes no sense. I'm trying to like this, but it seems…
episode 1 is more like laying the background for the story, it gets better with the second episode. The story so far is, there is a handsome ML who had a werid obsession for the chaebol company he is working for. I think he is a wannabe kingmaker for that company. But he is under the power of the real kingmaker, an old guy who is very annoying. The old guy feels threatened by the ML, tries to kill him, but instead the ML did a uno reverse and ran way with 2 trillion of the old guys money. And in the middle of it all we have the FL, who is the granddaughter of the chaebol company. She was dating the ML, but he doesn't know that she is the granddaughter of his beloved company until he attended the wedding ceromony of his own girlfriend with another guy. But they still have lingering feelings.....ahem....yeah that's the story so far. the old man is now after the ML....
I mean we are all used to seeing FL and MLs who are saints and on the good side of the moral compass. And here we have 2 leads who are on the other side of the moral compass, and it's okay to hate them for it, while appreciating the rest of the storyline. But can we talk about how fine Park Hyung Sik looks?? That was the hair style he needed that we all never knew.....
You are comparing Tvn's higest rated Kdrama in viewerships with this drama. QOT had problems and tropes but it…
I'm comparing their scripts and not the dramas itself. I have no hate for either of these dramas but In my opinion both had bad scripts. QOT script was unimpactful and was a cliche plotline but was saved with Kim Soo hyun amazing acting and popularity. just saying. and taking WTSG, isn't the directing just as good and the OST. But the problem is the script again. The script was no that great and Lee Min Ho's popularity couldn't make enough hype to save it. That's how I see it.
QOT had some flaws, but it was very enjoyable throughout and emotional as well. I know it's a trend to hate QOT…

I kinda agree with you, I loved Happiness and his side character in Heirs and this drama. But I didn't like his character in hwarang, but that kinda shows he is a good actor. I dropped watching suits, and the rest of his dramas weren't that impactful. Doctor slump was okayish but not that great.
This comment section will probably go down in history as the most toxic in K-Drama land.π1οΈβ£Congratulations…
I think Lee Min Ho's acting has gotten much better than before. You can clearly see the improvement. But still, even his popularity wouldn't save this drama.
