Hopefully he has minimal screen time in this drama, but it doesn't excuse the fact that it's his 4TH drama for this year alone and we're only in June - He shouldn't be cast this much let alone at all. It's disappointing.

I was so excited to see Hwang In Youp and Bae In Hyuk in a drama that I didn't even realise that they cast LKY. I just finished Again My Life and struggled to watch that show because of him and what he did (Go and read his description if you don't know).

Even if it is just a support role, can they actually just stop casting him, why did MBC have to lift his ban?? I want to be able to watch and enjoy the other actors without having to put up with him and his "I can only play one character", acting. I'm sure there are plenty of seasoned actors who can do a better job who don't have his background??

Oh my goodness, I’m so glad someone else said this. I keep seeing people say “if you’re not into the mature dynamic, it’s not for you” and I’m genuinely confused. Because firstly that’s very condescending and secondly, misguiding cause it’s pretty much the same dynamic as any other office kdrama (her private life, she would never know, etc) where they all have steamy kisses, it’s just that both leads are slightly older?😅

Edit: I’ve just noticed that most of the accounts making those comments are very new and only have Kiss Sixth Sense and maybe one other drama on their watchlist…

I agree with the expectations on the show, especially now that it's on Netflix after All of us are Dead aired. There's a big difference between survival and quarantine, especially in pace and character building, etc. It would be like trying to compare green apples with red apples and then being disappointed because you expected them to taste the same... ? 😅

I also feel like most of Netflix's target viewers for their monthly kdrama drops (where all eps are dropped on a Friday) are much broader and not your typical weekly kdrama viewer, which would also leave a vast difference in genre, pace, and style between the two.

And that’s perfectly understandable because that’s your preference. 🙌 But please don’t get me wrong, my comment wasn’t about which version is better (drama vs webtoon), but more over the fact that people are getting upset that other people are upset for not getting a closer adaptation or for simply not finding the ML as attractive as they would - even typing that out sounds ludicrous. 😅

Everyone has their own opinion and preference and that’s great, but if you’re going to have one, at least let the next person have one too, that’s the bottom line of what I was trying to say. 😊

From what I’ve seen so far, they’ve only kept two concepts (her ability and his ability) from the webtoon, otherwise everything else has changed.

It’s not about people expecting 100% adaptation, let’s be real, besides Sound of Magic, which was the closest (imo), you will never actually get that, but you would expect something close to at least 60%, but instead people got 5%. It’s understandable why they’re disappointed, everything they read in the webtoon down to character quirks and traits have been changed, why not let them express their disappointment, especially since they spent so much time reading and keeping up to date with the webtoon when it was released?

P.S. Also stop telling people who they should and shouldn’t find attractive, it's just weird.

I really don't think it's a case of simply casting older actors for the drama because that happens so often these days, but it's more about moving away from the small quirks that made the characters who they were, and what people maybe enjoyed about them in the webtoon. Separate from the webtoon I can see how and why people are enjoying it, but if you had to look at it as an "adaptation" from a webtoon, I can also understand why people aren't happy. Not that we have to please everyone, but the equivalent would be making an adaptation of Harry Potter and making him behave like Draco Malfoy the entire time. It wouldn't feel right... 😅

I was absolutely LOVING the relationship between TY and TJ - they are so wholesomely adorable 🥺, but what in the heck is going on with JY and her family's delusion? I am really having an incredibly hard time watching her and her parents (especially the mom) with their entitlement!! They have an incredibly long way to go in order to be redeemed for the way they've treated TJ his entire life, even now expecting him to break up????? 🥴

Right?! I'm honestly getting so furious watching them! The three of them are in their own bubble and they've practically abandoned TJ emotionally!! I honestly had to take a break from watching Ep 12 because it's like nobody exists except for what's best for JY?? 🥴

I am honestly hoping this is the case because I still can't believe Lee Min Soo was so easily persuaded!

This was the best adaptation of a webtoon I've ever seen, and I loved the touch of musical numbers as they really added to the magical element. I must say though, watching this made me realise just how much I miss going to the theatre!! 🥺

I have to say, it was infuriating watching OSG manipulate and plot things behind NGJ's back for so many EPS while NGJ was nonchalantly having lovey-dovey time with LSA, which, don't get me wrong, was great to watch! 😅 I knew NGJ either had a plan up his sleeve or he was going to get heavily burnt... and boy, I was satisfied to finally see an outcome! 🤣🤣

Loving the drama so far - binged it this week, I just hope they give us a goooood ending for the last two eps! 🤞🙂

I really enjoyed the first three Eps, but unfortunately, things fell a little flat for me in the last three. Maybe this should have been a movie with multiple parts considering the jarring disconnect between the first 3 Eps and the last? I don't know, a cool concept though and Yoo Ah In's performance delivered, as always!

I think Wong’s pride had a lot to do with it. Every time he sensed that Yumi was very upset with him, he managed to convince himself that he did no wrong in the situation. So I’m assuming that because she wanted the break, he might have thought the fault was on her side for this situation too? 🤔

This honestly has such fun elements to it, the travel, the music, THE FOOD, but the pacing is just weird 🥴

It's been three months since this drama aired and I still get flashbacks of how annoyingly unnecessary the second lead characters were written... 🥴

Was he stiff there? Or was it just this drama? 🤔

I also wished Seung Jo stood at Ha Ni's side more than he did by He Ra's. It was so annoying because Ha Ni really deserved so much more than that - I definitely had SLS for this drama ( even though Joon was over the top cheesy)!! Thank goodness times have changed and for the most part dramas have evolved beyond this kind of treatment in the leads! 😭
