What started as an incredibly strong rescue drama ficused on cooperation between cops/firemen/medical team became a ... mess of a random conspiracy crap embarrassingly poorly written and absurdly nonsensical without fire, medical or cop part in it.
And don't forget the strong female lead who didn't need any male help becoming the usual "me vagina me need cock me crying" ...
And the absolutely over the top bromance between Kim Rae Won and Son Ho Jun becoming ... becoming ... wait: at some point they stop being on screen together ! You almost never saw them together until the last ep ...

That's too bad because the main duo (these two) are the is the weak point of a cast that should have been the center of the drama: they tried to do something with their character, they do some acting ... yeah, to be honest I was hating Matsumoto in the end and did some skip on his scene (what's the point ? He's a dickhead, he has one facial expression for the whole drama and he's always right ... what a boring character).
Plus, and even if it's not surprising, let's all say HELLO to the ordinary sexism of Jdrama: Kishii Yukino ... her character ... it's painful to watch something so prehistoric. Even american movies from the 60's weren't so sexist. (u_u) And of course you have the mandatory "hey, rape are fake, women are lying for money" story ... sure, how could you make a Jdrama without reminding you how defenseless men are ? (<_<)

The FL is so stupid ... unlikable to the max. She had potential but it's wasted by the writing which doesn't know where it's going (spoiler: NOW-FUCKING-WHERE) to give a stupid ending trying to justify the title. And GG for the epilogue: it makes the movie even more stupid than it is.
Avoid at all costs, there's nothing to see except wasted potential. (<_<)
Do yourself a favor: begin with ep 6, the story starts for real with this one. Other than that the story is diluted to the point of being nonsensical (ep 4 ... was this a joke ? ) with filler (ep 3, a whole ep that begs the question "WTF was the point ?) and written to fill a mandatory 10 eps contract without enough story to make a 4 eps mini serie (just ike the main serie).
Disappointed I am, nothing is good good between the stupid characters (not saying a word is the main trait) or the story (dilution to the max like I said). The main serie was good on build up and terrible on endings, this spin off is terrible on build up, so why should I care for the ending ?
Liked it but ... liked the food part only. Problem is they tried to mix a light-hearted food drama with a serious business yakuza story and ... boy it's bad. (u_u) Food part is good, no argument here: life lesson with cooking is always wonderful in Jdrama. But the yakuza part, no matter where you look ... either it's out of place, ridiculous or bad. Rarely was I not thinking "please, move on to the food part, nobody cares for the 20 first minutes" Some eps were so bad I just skipped to the food part to be honest. Funny thing: in the beginning there are friends around the ML. And at some point one of the friends simply disappeared from the show. XD
So yeah, just watch the food part it's the only (really) good part to see. :/
