man was it just me or was JH's face expression kinda hot during the drive scene? We usually see his polite or really sweet looks but this omg, my heart. 🐳
IMHO, I actually like how JH has been giving YW space, the space to figure things out on her own, to have her journey but at the same time it seems he has been there for her, supportive and patient, and also taking the time to learn more about her (listening to her stories). When you understand a person better, then you can better help that person in the way he/she needs it. Anyways, this just my thoughts.
If they have Yumi end with Woong or Babi, I really would like to see some growth on both sides or in their relationship.
Maybe Soonrok will show up at the end. I was thinking of how Kim Soo Hyun appeared in the final moments in Hotel Del Luna. It would be pretty amazing if he appears as Soonrok. 😎
- It was painful to see that YS had to set her expectations so low. I get that when you have low expectations that lead to less disappointment. But when YS wished that she could only be poor to the point where she could handle it - that was heartbreaking.
- I love that we saw Choi Ung's parents at his live show, really showing how loving and supportive his parents are.
- I'm really glad to see how even after their breakup, Choi Ung's parents were very kind and warm to YS, especially the part when CU's mother said to YS, "it must have been very hard for you too."
- The Night they were together and the Ending oh goodness. Finally we see YS putting down her wall in front of CU, we see both of them showing their true emotions to each other. I could feel their pain/hurt through the screen - KDM and CWS have done an excellent job portraying the depth of their emotions.
It was also nice to see another side to both ML/FL in this episode. We see a more serious side of ML when he was drawing and a more vulnerable side of FL.
I'm so glad that there is this drama Our Beloved Summer for me to look forward to. There was no preview this time but maybe that's a good thing. I'm gonna need to find something to distract myself for the next 7 days tho.
Ep 5 so far is my favorite. The pace was picking up a bit more. It seems like Yeon Soo is starting to show more of her true feelings. And Choi Ung, it seems like he is acting that way (when they were sitting and drinking at friend's restaurant) maybe because of the conversation they had in the elevator; he realize that he still have feelings for YS and he wants to become more mature and be with her again.
The ending part was an exciting surprise! It looks like she will accept his invitation. Can't wait to see more of their interaction tomorrow.
Oh and i love how YS handled the situation with Mr. Jang. It was mature, calm, and confident.
