i'm appreciating HT's definition of love more and more, i had not looked it that way -- love being measured towards the end of lifetime together. if after going through many, many things especially all the challenging/difficult parts together and in the end they still look at each other with love and still want to meet again, it's beautiful.

Poor YZM and HT, they both had to eat super spicy foods lol. You can actually tell how HT and YZM are pretty different just by seeing their different face expressions when eating the very spicy foods.
i am not familiar with how business works but if HT really couldn't tell or discuss certain business dealings with JX then he could at least communicate to her exactly that. tell JX something like "because of my nature of work, i sometimes can't share or discuss certain business dealings with you but if you ever have questions or doubts about something, ask me and ill do my best to answer what i can. ill protect you and xingchen. and hope with time i can prove that you can trust me with that." that's at least some communicating.
JX and HT are 2 very different people who sees or interprets the world very differently so they need communicate to understand each other's thought process, to get on the same page. also their tone/attitude matters a lot, just the tone alone can completely change the direction of their conversation.
i am thinking that the reason that JX seems to be "fine" after the breakup is maybe because she is already all cry out during her fight with HT so now she is feeling more numb. And perhaps having already gone through another breakup before (with SYC) has something to do with it too. Whereas HT is now just starting to let out his emotions and this is his first breakup.
But imo, JX is still feeling sad and missing HT. she went back to Germany and revisiting all their places and she's thinking about him kinda the whole time.

the fox and the hunter story was interesting/good. it was touching to see XYX and LJJ be there for HT and put together that play to help HT see the fight from a different perspective.
Just a thought on Han Ting's Grandpa's view about HT's future marriage partner:
The thing is, even tho HT does not love ZD at all, but ZD does, ZD loves HT very much and this would lead to problems later on in their marriage, which would prob then affect their family businesses, which is the opposite of what grandpa wants.
i get that HT probably wants JX to only see the good sides of him but for their relationship to work he needs to also show the other side of him and communicate. this way JX will be able to understand where he is coming from, understand the reasons behind his decisions.
while i disagree with ZD, i feel like HT could've done a better job at handling the situation with her. i had kept wondering if there is a reason that he continues to keep ZD "close" despite knowing her feelings and not agreeing with the way she does things. imho he should've at least set very firm boundaries a long time ago, for example not letting her buy food for him or going to his house etc.

gotta say i really like their choice of lighting in these scenes, similar to the staircase scene. and then with you are everything song playing, so pretty.
what happened to the middle parts?? one moment HT and JX are talking at the club and next moment already bed scene. Yo director people you owe us the build up lolll
Not sure who Li Li will end up with, i'm thinking it'll be XYX but i'm hoping that drama will show growth in SZZ's character, even if he is not going to be with Li Li.
