Nice to see your post and understanding the depth of the character NGJ. Agree with your points you mentioned about…
Yeah, I mean, sometimes people start to have very unrealistic expectations from ML/FL, that they will be very understanding, caring, very progressive, very saint-like all through the drama. This is absolutely not the case for this drama, here both ML and FL have been portrayed much flawed, aka, very much human. They are supposed to make mistakes and make decisions that are sometimes detrimental and maybe even petty at times. It's very natural. And here the ML has actually some good reasons as to why he is behaving like this. This should be quite a no-brainer at this point imo.
I see a lot of people are unhappy with how NGJ excluded LSA from the audition and his reason being that he wants…
I personally think that characters in a drama, whether a ML or FL aren't really supposed to be "More than Human". They will make mistake, overreact, have difficulty communicating their feelings and thoughts, get jealous, do the wrong things sometimes, etc. Basically, they will do human things. I personally don't get angry with these things for the most part. And our ML here is obviously pretty vulnerable, I mean, If I remember correctly, in the last 12 years after his breakup, he hasn't really opened up to anyone, other than to Shin-ah. So, I understand why he is afraid. Also, the fact that he thinks she is terminally ill, obviously, influencing his decision regarding Shin-ah.
Personally, I really don't like this idea of comparing drama to drama for every little thing. This idea of comparing "Her private Life" to "Crazy love" seems really uncalled for. I mean, for starters, two are very different genre. The ML and the FL were very much clear about their feelings about each other from pretty much the very beginning. Plus, really, different genre of Rom-com itself. Nobody in that show was evil, there were no conspiracy, it was mostly about romantic comedy for the most part. So, their "Chemistry" had a longer screentime. You talk about Chemistry? Again, HPL was a pretty much a Lovey-Dovey drama for the most part, it was very lovey-dovey even before the ML and FL got into the relationship. Very different dynamics, very different way the relationship developed. In their fake relationship idea, there were no threats involved from the other party, rather the other party was eager to help. The "Behind the Scenes"?? Well, how good they come out depends on the production crew that releases them, if THEY do a good job at that, it looks good, if not, not so good. But comparing BTS to BTS seems like a needless comparison. And really, THE KISS???? Is that the level we've stooped into? We drama-lovers? "Who kissed Better? Their Kiss was even better, therefore, their chemistry was even better, blah blah blah" Are these things really worth nitpicking about and create and issue over? Comparing kiss scenes like this can be pretty offensive, if you do that in a public place. If you wanna do this, do this with utmost modesty at least. Apparently it reached even twitter. Seemingly there weren't happy. I mean, should they be? Really, let's not do this. We are better than this.
Really, everybody who haven't rated this show yet, feel free to help increase the ratings. We are still fighting against the initial 6.7, need every bit of help.
Really, Great Episode. Not gonna spoil anything. Watch it asap. Just wanna say there are 2 characters that you will start to really hate, if you haven't already.
Anyway, did anyone notice that our Crazy Couple were still wearing their engagement rings even after a few days…
I saw that too. Thought maybe they were emotionally wrecked and forgot everything else. Also, maybe they didn't already thought about what to say to other people if they come out Un-ring-handed, that's why for now kept the ring. Although, I haven't yet seen the preview for 11th episode, don't know what they are doing there.
It's been quite inconsistent unfortunately. Subs for Ep 5 and 7 were delayed by 7 to 8 hours, so I thought it…
Generally after 3-4 hours, eng subs are released. But, I think there were 2-3 episodes where it took over 8 hours. So, fingers crossed. In my case I have to stay up at night if it takes longer. Hope they release within 3 hours.
