so you're telling me this Jo guy planned a whole revenge for something that was his wrongdoing?? when his girlfriend…
Yeah, this may feel over the line a bit. Although, with suicide of loved ones, people are very quick and adamant of blaming others than themselves often. He may very well know that it's his fault for the most part, but maybe in his mind emphasizing that if Noh had not pressure her to reveal Jo's identity, they could have gotten a lucky break, he could have become successful and they could get married, and she wouldn't die on him. He is pretty much scarred for life as she basically committed suicide while he was there. It's mad irrational, yes, but guilty people often resort to these rationalizations to go about their lives. I am letting this one slide, cause it's a drama, in dramas, often these emotional, irrational aspects are exaggerated. I think the writers had quite a few options as to where they could have gone with the story, but they decided to do this. Let's see in ep 16 if there is more to this aspect of the story, although, I doubt it. It could very well be all about his rationalizations caused by guilty conscience.
Finally, a rom-com show that's worth watching until the ending episode. Ep 15 was basically where almost all the mystery were unveiled, now 16 is about the fightback and closure. Hope they end it with a BANG.
Lee Min Ki's character has some mouth, doesn't he? I love how good he is at talking incessantly, during verbal fights he just keep shooting words in superb fashion.
As much as I love to say come join in our suffering, I advised try to endure it and watch it after in was finish…
I feel ya, that's the reason I didn't watch it from the start. But, now, just gave in to temptation, already finished 2 episodes today. And yeah, by the end of tomorrow, I am pretty sure suffering will find me.
It's not a new thing. It happens with every ongoing dramas here ;) so chill
hmm, the way ratings vary in the early episodes of the show is interesting. Problem is, sometimes even if a show is very good, and keeps the quality throughout most of the episodes, the initial dip significantly impacts the overall ratings. This one is till in a respectable position, 7.7 can be recovered from.
Okay, so a lot happened in ep 2. Some flashbacks and hints of connections to those flashbacks were shown. I liked it, so far the show has built a good solid foundation. They really did a great job in the comedy department, it's really funny, not forced at all. Although, I am loving the show so far, I just hope they don't make it too fast. The pace at which the tension will be built and the mystery be revealed, will be the key for us to keep liking it. I just hope they don't give away too much in the first half of the show. They shouldn't rely solely on the ML and FL chemistry, which is very good so far. They gotta keep surprising us in the upcoming episodes, keep the mystery element alive until the very end. So Yes, for this show, from now on, it's showtime, indeed.
I am completely satisfied the way it came out last night. No complaint and obviously the show suits my taste.
The first episode was just, OP. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed the opening episode of a show this much. Problem is with this type of show that they become too fast in the first few episodes and give away every bit of mystery, so there's not much left for the later half. Then they just try to fill it up with unnecessary made-up-on the spot branch storylines, unnecessary side villains, too much 2nd lead drama alongside prolonged cheesy romance and stuff like that. I really hope they keep the mystery elements alive until the very end part of this show. So far, the comedy elements are Absolutely On Spot.
Honestly, It's been a while since I've enjoyed the 1st episode of a show so much . This one was absolutely phenomenal. The comedy was, just on point, wow!! The dialogues were very very funny, that's something even many comedy shows miss sometimes. I really never felt bored for even a minute in the entire episode.
This pair literally make me so uncomfortable . poor krystal always paired with middle aged men
I hope it's just a troll that you are pulling off here. You see, in real life, a Crazy amount of couples have significant age difference. In all parts, in all cultures of the world, it was 2000 years ago, it was 1000 years ago, it's still now, and if we don't completely perish, it will be the case in the future too. It's the case in arranged marriages, in love marriages, also in case of the people who date and don't marry. Talking about age gap like this is not just distasteful, it's unbelievably unrealistic, based on how Love and Marriage in real life works. The way you said "Poor Krystal" and "Middle Aged men", you basically implied that somehow their relationship is Immoral or exploitative. So, I really hope you are just trolling and not that kind of a person who thinks like that.
I am pretty heartbroken by the news that Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won aren't in season 2. I really loved season 1, both these two played their role extremely well. Now, Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung are taking their place. Lee Joon Gi is an amazing actor, one of the absolute best in Kdramaland. But I just think due to the fact that we are used to see Song Joon Ki playing that role, it will be difficult to really adjust to the character being played by someone else, for us viewers and fans of the show. I like Shin Se Kyung too, but then again, it will be different as we are used to see someone else in that role. Especially the way the first season finished, it's really difficult to accept that we aren't gonna see both of them. It was a moment of both these two characters started fighting back against the oppressors, and now this happens!! The fact that those two characters had such good chemistry and we fans have such unforgettable memory with both of them playing their roles, I have a hard time believing that it will be the same anymore.

Good lessons btw.
