I guess we have similar taste when it comes to slow romance plots. MLN 's pacing is something I am really impressed with. It's on the slower side, but not boring at all, something many slowburners miss, I think it's pacing is just perfect, justifying the storyline.
In terms of the vibe, it gives quite similar vibe, but the storyline is entirely different, so is the pacing. One common element is that both shows makes us wait eagerly for the main 2 characters to meet and have scenes together all episodes long. It makes us feel like "When they are gonna meet again in this episode, I can't wait", kinda like that. It's been the case for me with every episodes of both MLN and My Mister. My mister has a lot more characters outside the main 2 leads, they are also very interesting and significant amount of screentime has been invested in them, and they are all crucial to the story. MLN on the other had has relatively fewer characters, but they got pretty much equal screen-time, as all 4 of them are main roles. And also, as someone already said, My Mister is a lot more depressing and you will feel sharp pain in your heart here and there. There are elements of betrayal by someone close and it really creates these painful feelings inside you. It's one of the reasons I won't ever forget My Mister. BUT, there's comradery, brotherhood, great friendship and also great loyalty in some characters. It's a mixed bag , A Very Good One at that. MLN, to me feels like a gentle breeze, with tapping pressure here and there, and time just flows when I watch it.

Generally, I get bored if there's too much cutey-cute scenes and cheesy lines going on. I prefer it this way, especially for a show like this, it's perfect.

Well, Ep 12 was sad and kinda cathartic at the same time. It was bound to happen between the two, and I would've been mad if it had happened at ep 15, or worse yet at ep 16. Do check it out, it's a good show, I would say in some parts it felt like too much in terms of storyline and became somewhat repetitive and annoying in some parts (My opinion just). But, overall it's a very good show, and Mr Gu's character is incredibly charming and his uncanny chemistry with Jeon Yeobin (FL from Vincenzo) is what really makes the highlights for the last few episodes.
