Well, that was overall cute. It's a short, light-hearted drama with more or less zero plot but it's enough to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. It's nothing serious so go ahead, indulge in this guilty pleasure lol plus both leads are eye candies ;)
hospital playlist...it is a slice of life drama about a bunch of friends... it also have an unconventional way…
Thank you! I've seen the drama already. I liked that it was so chill and I didn't feel the need to binge watch it which was so helpful coz I was doing a lot of acad works that time. It was basically my happy pill and reward after a stressful day.
I was not a big fan of slice-of-life dramas but surprisingly Run On worked for me! Can anyone recommend dramas with a similar vibe? lol maybe Run On is the first of its kind or it's just that my tastes changed haha
Maybe it's just me but it has a different vibe as compared to the manga :/ Unlike the manga where there was a perfect balance of the 4 main characters, in the live-action kazu and akari have more screentime (which is a bummer coz i really like the other couple). Anyway, it's an okay adaptation.
I swear this drama never fails to surprise me. Ep 8 preview was totally not what I have expected to happen in Ep 9. I can't just seem to predict the lines of the characters. When Seon Gyeom confessed that he's been doing what Mi Joo asked him to do (liking her), I thought they'd finally start dating. But for Mi Joo, it was not the confession she wants. For her, it was as if Seon Gyeom was just fulfilling a favor. Lol!
PS the ending scene was really intense. Our cheeseball snapped! He was like "you're my crush but I won't let you shit on my art"
this drama has great reviews in the comment section and don't get me wrong i love all the characters and the idea…
Hi! While I agree that this drama is slow-paced, I wouldn't consider this as watching a teenage first love. In fact, every bit of this drama shows maturity and how relationships naturally develop. Tbh, I'm actually surprised that I'm enjoying this. Sadly, maybe this drama is not for you.
I swear this drama has its own genre. I never thought I'd enjoy a chill drama like this! Watching them converse with each other feels like hunting for easter eggs. Some of their phrases really make me think. Also, I love how every scene is just so natural. When she got sick and was walking to the hospital, I thought KSG will spot her and she'll faint in his arms HAHAHHAA. Oh, and when she "messed up" her translation and the director schooled her, I love that she apologized but was still able to tell him her dilemma. And while the drama steered clear from the typical drama troupes, we are still served with romantic/heart-melting scenes. I just love how episode 8 started and ended with them holding hands. Can't wait for next week! Looks like we are finally hearing a [official] confession!
P.S. The last scene where KSG was just looking at her while holding her hand, I could totally tell he's smitten for her.
I really love how this drama breaks unnecessary and overused troupes... We stan a FL who isn't easily scared from overbearing parents woohooo! Mi Joo and Dan Ah are definitely leading this drama (girl crushes!!!). Also, Yonghwa is such a puppy <3 Seon Gyeom on the other hand will have to learn more about dealing with relationships. Can't wait for his growth!
What a refreshing drama. The plot isn't really that much but I just love how normal and unpredictable this drama. Unpredictable in the sense that the characters just continually surprises me each time. I really love this
Generally, the premise of this drama is predictable and tbh nothing new. But I think what made the original capture the hearts of the viewers is the writing--it had that effect where you'd really root for the characters and the build-up of the romance was just satisfying to watch. Everything about this version is fast-paced which I understand given that it's a web drama. I'm going to continue watching this keeping in mind that I should not compare it to the original, else I'll spoil my experience. Anyway, it's just a 25 minute light drama that would accompany me during acad breaks.
Skipped a lot of scenes (motorbike race, basketball match, riding in a white horse dream), this drama does have a lot of fillers... Anw, am I the only one who has read the webtoon and somehow forgot everything about it so I'm watching this as if I have not read the source material? I only remember bits and pieces of the webtoon. So when I see comments complaining about it not being true to the source material, I'm just...."Ohhhhhh right????" LOL why am I like this
Shin - Lee Jaewook
Chaegyung - Kim Yoo Jung
Hyo Rin - Park Yoona
Lee Yul - Lee Do Hyun
