Exactly! It was so simple. All she wanted from Ung was a sense of security and stability in an emotional level.…
Yes, yes! Which is why it's not fair to put all the blame to Yeon Su especially that her character's been through a lot. I'm glad we are in the same page :)
Agreed! I'm actually a year older than you and recently I've just been into character-driven stories such as this drama where there's nothing much going on on the surface but there's so much depth and lessons to be learned. I remember loving Run On and thought that if I watched that show in my teens I wouldn't have appreciated it lol
"If we fight or break up again, just come to me like you did today"
"and then?"
"and then I'll grab onto you and never let go"
Salute to people who never grow weary chasing difficult people. In yesterday's episode, I asked what it would take for Yeon Su to finally let go of her defenses. Turned it was actually simpler than a possible near-death situation. All you need is to tell her you'll stay, no matter what. I'm crying y'all.
The preview though...Looks like there will be a lot of things still needed to be said. I'm in for the slow ride. A drama like this could be potentially boring for some but there's just something magical about the storytelling. Of course, the directing is equally amazing! And the music, perfection. Gosh, I freakin love this drama.
A question guys; the artist Koo-o (idk if i spelled correctly or not :p) is not seen in public so no one knows…
same sentiments! I think when he agreed to do the live painting , it means that he is consenting to have his identity revealed right? But was he really actively hiding his identity? Or he just wanted to live the lowkey life as much as possible? But then his parents doesn't even know what he's doing.
The directing of this drama is just *chef's kiss* especially with the tender moments between ML and FL. The hands of San tightly clasped around Duk Im's shoulder, the leaning of San's face on Duk Im's head...man, their chemistry is off the charts. Of course, kudos to the actors as well!
Kinda sad because I feel like the succeeding episodes will be more serious and less rom-comy since the plot is moving now.
The head court lady is now officially a villain. Man, all along I thought she really cared about the court ladies but she's actually just projecting her own agenda.
I really love his down to earth personality plus he's so good with emotional scenes. I honestly don't understand people hating on him. He's so sweet :(
A GEM. This is a rom-com made right. Not much unnecessary drama between the FL and ML. Lovely OSTs. Can someone tell me the name of the English song they played in the end? I can't find itttt but it had a lyrics of "of course she married prince gamjatang" hahaha
is this worth starting? or should I just wait till it gets completed? FYI I'm a sucker for contract marriage tropes and I kind of miss seeing Kentaro lol
Like I know that it is a romance genre and things at one point or another are bound to look as if the situations…
Yup. Totally agree with your sentiments. I would have preferred if they had Ji Woon admire CP in a respectful manner at first then have him gradually fall for her. The hug was a little too forward. He could have at least just gave her a pat in the back I guess. But then he even drunkenly kissed her cheek. Now what. hahaha
Alright, so Gaon is related to Lee Hwi's previous tutor (probably his son). It's also why Ji Woon told him that they have a special connection coz he's a tutor like his father. But I'm still wondering if it was him who really assassinated the CP before when he's doing a great job protecting her now. Unless he's only gaining her trust. I feel like there's more to this. I wish he'd get more scenes with CP as well.
Anyway, I'm really enjoying the show. I've no idea how the next episodes will pan out so I'm anticipating each week.
