The manga was written by a female writer in the 90s, the mindsets were different, the drama is an exact representation…
I have seen much better jdramas/kdramas with tsunderes who actually have some morals. This show is just romanticizing toxicity. There is a difference with being a tsundere and just being a moron. However, i'm still going to continue watching this to hope for character development.
On Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo Dec 6, 2020
I am in ep 10 and i have only one thing to say, what the hell? This is just another submissive, overdramatic , dumb girl who pushes away a guy who actually treats her like a women, to be with the jerk who is apparantly trying to make it seem that she is not deserving of him, even if he secretly likes her.

I get that its an old story and that the writers were just trying to make it a live action but what baffles me is how this show got a lot of good reviews?

I just hope the naive viewers don't get influenced from such behavior. I was once in love with a guy who straight up made me feel like shit, yet i still tried to get his attention for no reason to make me end up hurt in the end.
On An Incurable Case of Love Dec 5, 2020
I want to point out one more thing. Though this is cliche, i love how the drama doesn't make the ML an arrogant bitch. Yeah he's reserved and was strict with her from the beginning, but that's the job of a doctor. He did not go out of his way to humiliate her for messing up. He just scolded her to stop being insecure and get her shit together. She's a nurse after all. The medical/nursing field should not be taken lightly.

I really do hope that drama's can learn from this. Being introverted and being a scum are different things.
On An Incurable Case of Love Dec 3, 2020
This drama is so darn cringy at times and the FL and ML are basic generic love interests you see written all the time in manga/jdramas.

The FL is so annoying and overdramatic but i can't hate her because she is kind and hardworking.

The ML is just a tsundere but something about his personality was charming. Yeah he is reserved but it is clear that he is very caring and humble.

However, i very much enjoyed it. They are honestly one of my favorite couples now. The bond and cute moments is what really kept me smiling throughout. No crazy enemy, no beef, no evil mother/father in law. Just a show depicting a cold hearted doctor who slowly falls for a nurse (with side things like improving yourself, dealing with patients, and more love. )

I don't know why but i love seeing a cold guy suddenly start losing his cool around the person he loves. THE CHEMISTRY WAS FANTASTIC!

8/10

it's this kind of movies..either you really like it or you really hate it, there is no in between
yeah the reviews are divided. u either really like it or its just not ur type. u really have to understand what u are getting into and how its not for everyone. i personally love it.
On Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo Nov 30, 2020
i don't get the reasons behind why people disliked this drama. it was never meant to be so realistic, deep, or purposeful. its just a cute romcom with a simple story that keeps me smiling throughout. there is cringy scenes like when she has the crush on the doctor and how they made the main girl overly generic but every show has some cringe to it.

if ur someone who does not like something like this then i highly suggest u don't watch.

just wanted to share something that a user put as a youtube comment

"i don't care who will be together with whom or who kissed whom! Only thing I want is happy ending for Ji Pyeong that's all because
1. he is an orphan,
2. the only person who care little about him is going blind,
3. the girl he loves, loves someone else now,
4. he met with the girl he loved with tears and hate in her eyes,
5. he is blamed with the murder of someone's brother,
6. He has no one with whom he can share his pain or sadness,
7. Spent whole life alone till mid 30's,
8. grandma tried to stop him for telling truth about his feeling to her,
9. In the end, he said I'll hand over the last letter to do-san with broken heart.
"" I want her and it feel so unfair... why can't it be me!?? ""
It's like Totally loneliness man! He is the strongest character I have ever seen in kdrama.
writer be like "" i'll give all deep pain to HJP & will not make him lead on the other hand all light pain to Do-san & make him lead. ""

people who actually root for NDS needs to give me a summary why

sorry but personality matters. even if it is a fictional story, it matters. i seriously don't understand the stupid trope that Asian drama's use to make the guy with issues the heartthrob.

is it so hard the for the writer to let the second lead have his justice served???

i'm all for avoiding ones who overly criticize a show but the issue with this dumb love triangle does not need understanding, it's common sense.

everyone has the full right to be annoyed, disappointed, and bored.

Though i am not a fan of people who love to be overly critical with a fictional story that will obviously have annoying characters and flaws, i do think anyone has the right to speak on about their opinion. I am a hypocrite for getting pissed at people always complaining because i myself go watch another drama and write a review about how i hate the message of the show.

And the negative opinions on this character is legitimate.

Point is, this is a review section for a reason. Let's all be respectful here shall we?

And in my personal opinion, please calm down and just enjoy the ride, people. Not everyone will agree with me and not everyone will agree with you. And if you can't handle that, please get outta the internet and go learn some morals :)

what you smokin, the acting was great. Kento, Kadowaki Mugi and Mackenyu
eh, kento's acting seemed too exaggerated in my opinion. But then again, it's my opinion. I was also not really a fan of the way they portrayed Saiko, but that's how Japanese portray the girls anyways. But idc, the plot was very intriguing and good.

I've been watching kdramas for about 5 years and I am still thinking whether I should watch this.I know I'll hate…
Don't. If it was going to be your first, then i would but since you have been watching dramas for 5 years, this show is bad enough so likely, it won't be anything sparking to you.

Not gonna lie stopped reading the webtoon, but I might just binge it before this drama comes out cause I'm hype…
Fr the webtoon is sort of annoying now. The girl can never make up her mind and just having the typical love triangle -_-

I don't think the drama will follow the webtoon faithfully, something has to give for it to be fitted in 16 episodes
True! I'm kinda tired of the webtoon now but if the drama is different, i hope it doesn't mess up things like it a lot of typical dramas do

The reason why i think she is badass is because she stands up for her rights and respects the people who truly…
I agree with all your points and i understand as well. However, even if she "used" Sang Tae to get to Gang Tae, she still understood and respected his barriers by allowing him to sign a contract and obviously not looking at him as someone who can't make his own decision just because he's special. She was also generous enough to let him do what he loved, drawing by making him her illustrator. This was one of the reasons why Sang Tae really liked her. Even though she had a lot of anger and manipulative behaviours that were obviously fd up, i was able to see that she is deep down a well person, just needed some serious help to fix her problems.

Idk, i guess i am that big heart type of person who looks in the good in people no matter how sshitty they are haha

Also, yeah i totally agree! It should have been either a romance plot with mental health as a side note or actual serious healing without stupid rOmAnCe coming to save the day -_- They did a bad job in actual healing.
