Okay so i am the person who likes realistic dramas like this. Really depends on the mood so i gave it a try and i am in the 3rd episode but i don't love it. I love the setting and the mood it puts out but i am still not fully incorporated into the plot.
Does it get better through episodes? Or is it still going to be about problems with money and stuff?
Update: its getting good and i actually find it interesting now:)
One thing that i love about this drama is that there is no political related stuff. A lot of kdrama's have this tendency of involving some politics or a political power as the side story, i always get kind of bored with those scenes so it's nice to see something thats minus that.
Funny lad, which drama has 75,000 viewers on MDL? Which drama has skyrocketed LMH into pan-Asian stardom? BOF…
I actually partially agree. I am still watching it so i can't judge but their romance seems so cheesy that i get bored when some lovey dovey part comes up. The second lead seems more interesting to me. And overall i find the whole escaping from North Korea quite interesting.

I said "sometimes" before i even edited it.. i just put it in caps and changed the beginning to clarify to people that i didn't mean koreans have the worst taste. Also, Riverdale is actually disliked by a lot, but generally it is still high rated which does not make sense because it has so many problems and is quite complained about. And yes, i do :)

It was just a light hearted comment. I didn't mean anything deep. I said SOMETIMES. I think my country (USA) have weird tastes too like they made the trash riverdale a huge hit for some reason...

okay i don't mean that they always have strange tastes because they don't but i meant sometimes. Like for example, Itaewon Class. Bruh i don't understand why the show was ranked so high. But dramas like Crash Landing on You or World Of The Married made sense.
Now i don't mean always but the people in korea SOMETIMES have strange tastes like the country made the trash "Boys Over Flowers" a legendary hit yet a masterpiece like this gets barely any attention that it actually DESERVES. Than again, it was 2009 so it made sense. But dramas like Itaewon class got so much attention which i did not understand.
So far I'm enjoying it BUT I have a massive problem with the character of the hospital director. Yes, I know that…
To be honest, many of the staff members give out a weird vibe to me. At first, everyone seemed so genuine and not like that typical gossiping kdrama hospital. But something about them not helping out KT nor helping out MY when woman was literally crying on the floor when her dad choked her. If i had to pick one staff that got on my worst nerves, it would be that male colleague of KT. He works in psychiatry hospital yet goes around saying rumors. Not to mention that he can't even do his job properly.
It is a mature drama about a family who are breaking apart. Of course it's going to be problematic. Of course it's going to have characters you want to beat up. Of course the son (spoiler) is going to run away especially from seeing all that shit.
It's so problematic and annoying but thats the whole point
