The reason why i think she is badass is because she stands up for her rights and respects the people who truly…
I think they portrayed her having aspd well. It was clear that she had a mental problem that was not just because of trauma.
Its just the fact that they did a poor job in showing how she healed. It was so stupid that you can heal from a diagnosed mental illness with romance. So unprofessional and so detrimental to the viewers who think love can change it all smh.
Lastly, I have not seen anyone praising her for her terrible actions. Even though she has a lot of problems, a lot of us like her positive characteristics such as sticking up for your rights and not giving two shit on what people think of you. Also dressing however you want, even if you don't fit in with the crowds. A lot of people also criticized her for kidnapping Sang Tae but that is stupid because even if he is special, he can still act like an adult and take care of himself. She respected him as a person and did not look down on him because he is disabled which is one of the problems that Gang Tae struggled with.
Obviously i am not excusing her for some of her behaviors but to me, she's not a bad person, she obviously has a heart. She just needs a lot of professional healing which this show failed to portray.

Okay, I'm going to voice out an issue I had while watching IOTNBO. The show never expands on MY and her supposed…
The reason why i think she is badass is because she stands up for her rights and respects the people who truly needs to be respected. She's the person who does not sugar coat her words and dresses like a woman of class. But i do agree with ur opinion that a lot of the things she has done was not okay nor should be excused. She has many problems as well. For example, attempting to stab some people which is completely wrong. However, she does have aspd. It said somewhere when i was watching the drama and it was basically confirmed. Though there were many parts concerning the importance of healing, i feel like the show has done a poor job in showing her recovery with her illness. The second half somehow turned into a thriller- romance based show and i was so confused.
OMG ok so first of all, this show deserves way more than 8.4
LITERALLY SO GOOD. OTARO'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT MADE ME GET UP AND GET MY SCHOOL WORK DONE. THOUGH IT HAS LOTS OF GUILTY PLEASURES, IT LEAVES BEAUTIFUL MESSAGES AND LESSONS TO THE VIEWERS.
This also makes me wanna go to Japan sooo bad.
Yep, gonna start watching more of Kento and Mackenyu
I also really really really feel annoyed when things get dragged. Like they gonna kiss but someone barges in and it takes them a few episodes to officially PECK EACHOTHER. Like woohoo! You did skinship...sO iNcReDiBle.
Pace is such an important element for me, i really do not like when the story gets dragged until the very end where suddenly things get rushed.
Haha i came back to this comment section after like 2 months. I realized i never truly gave my statement so here you go:
It is a beautiful film. I honestly loved how exaggerated it was, the blend of mental health, suspense, and comedy really sets itself apart as a genre.
However, just like how every show has its flaws, i personally did not feel the same spark i felt after the first 12 episodes. I would be excited every week for the release of the show but slowly i just did not feel the excitement any longer. The plot just suddenly got predictable.
But praise to this show for creating such beautiful shots, incredible cast, strong bad ass woman, and obviously the topic with mental health. This story in itself is good but if you are someone who likes more action or more sweet and cutesy stuff, then i recommend you to shift from watching. The story in itself switches around with themes which i think is one of the reasons why people are complaining. But if you are open to all kinds of genre, then go ahead and give it a shot!
I don't want to generalize Japanese but can japan female lead actually learn to fight back? I mean she got abuse/kiss/attack/kidnap…
Yeah, Japanese standards are cute woman who are quiet. Don't get me wrong i love Japanese shows, but this mentality is so detrimental for the young female audiences.
This might be unpopular opinion, but I find this drama great at first half, boring at the second half. Now stuck…
Yeah same. I never hated it but it got a little less interesting afterwards but it depends on what you want to watch. Nonetheless, its still a beautiful drama which definitely deserves lots of praise!
Thank you, to you guys, for making this place where you can talk and share opinions. I enjoyed it very much. I am a person who can't let things go ( that made me feel happy) so easily so i hope that one day, a lot of us can meet again during a new airing of a drama. But for now, it's farewell . I LOVE YOU GUYS
