I really liked Ep 6...good amount of angst and suspense. The plot seems to be moving along and I really hope (and think) the slow burn will pay off in a great way.
Also September may seem like a long time, but if the date is finally accurate, teasers may start any time after the next drama starts airing (June 19). I expect that in July promo will have started.
Good news for everybody who wants this on Netflix...chances just became much higher that it can be on Netflix since JTBC's upcoming Wed-Thurs drama which is usually on Netflix will be on iqiyi, and their Fri-Sat drama (Snowdrop's projected slot) will be on Netflix instead. This means there's a much better chance that Snowdrop can also be on Netflix even if it's Fri-Sat
Are we sure snowdrop is a fri sat drama? Wed Thurs slot is booked?
Oh wow that's good news for Snowdrop...it means there's a much better chance of it being on Netflix since Nevertheless will be on Netflix and is Fri-Sat
At least it's popular in Korea but I wish it were more popular internationally and was not just on Viki so we could get the subs quicker...plus it being only on Viki means it's inaccessible to most of Asia which explains why it's not popular
Are we sure snowdrop is a fri sat drama? Wed Thurs slot is booked?
yeah it looks like it probably won't be aired on netflix at the same time if it's Friday Sat but is pretty much guaranteed to be on Netflix after it airs. Unless they somehow make an exception for Snowdrop to air simultaneously but I doubt it
Nevertheless will air on JTBC every Saturday for 10 weeks starting June 19. That means if Snowdrop follows it, it'll start either last week of August or in September. Hopefully for real this is the last drama before it.
this is just how dramas are promoted, you typically get almost nothing the months after the announcement, then…
I'm not 100% sure but that varies a lot because first news comes out based on casting news of actors, and I'm sure there are other factors. But, full length dramas take on average around 8 months to film and since it looks like Snowdrop will be 100% pre-filmed, the airing date isn't super out there. Since it started filming late November, we can estimate that it'll finish filming late July, give or take a month. Most dramas still film while airing, which is why they might come sooner. Tbh the wait for most dramas from announcement is typically very long and it really only gets hype when it starts airing
Don't expect any promo until the drama before Snowdrop starts airing. That means that if the estimate is correct (and it's been wrong several times now), that puts start of promo at around mid-July.
is jtbc knowingly not releasing shit knowing the cast is gonna keep enough attention on this drama for longer…
this is just how dramas are promoted, you typically get almost nothing the months after the announcement, then they start promotion 1-2 months before it will air. We haven't gotten anything because promo hasn't started.
Ba Woo's son said she left him for another man which may or may not be true
No, when the princess asked him what happened to his mom in ep 2, he said that she left his dad for his dad's friend but not to tell his dad bc Ba Woo doesn't know that his son knows.
