The premise seems cute but just saw the writer is the one who did Doctors and Record of Youth. To me, those started out good but really fell off in the middle-end.
After the last few episodes though the controversy is dying down and local ratings are also rising. It is a relief…
I'm also very happy JTBC stuck through it and saved the team and cast. Unfortunately the damage that's been done will never completely be reversed, but at least we got to see the truth.
lol you guys have to pop some sedatives or something soon. No one's career will be ruined. This is not the end…
It might not be ruined, but she'll definitely have to go silent and will be affected. Also the possibility of cancellation is looking more and more real.
Well the fate of SD is definitely not looking good. If/when it gets cancelled, Jisoo will definitely take the brunt of it. Hopefully this doesn't ruin her career and she has the courage to try acting again in the future (in something safe lol).
Idk, while the base plot is obviously the same as the synopsis, I don't think we've seen enough of the politics plot...we don't even know who are the villains/heroes in this story. While it's important to stop historical distortion, this may have other consequences from rushing to conclusions. What if it's actually a criticism of the NIS? If it's cancelled without seeing more, creatives may become too afraid to tackle controversial subjects.
I'm scared that even if this drama is good, it will still have low rating because of the controversy/ how many…
Don't expect too much from ratings, jtbc has had terrible ratings this year. My main hope is that they show that the controversy is baseless and that all the debate stops after it starts airing. At this point I don't want to be too greedy for ratings, I just want it to not be controversial anymore lol.
I think by 2022 it will be global...I guess they are waiting for the whole episode to drop
We'll see about that. Either way it's still pretty bad, considering Netflix, Viu, Viki, iqiyi, etc. all have the episodes with subs available by the next day or sooner in all countries they operate in.
Apparently the dramas line up in September is already uploaded and there's no SD.... Let's just hope for a release…
Actually jTBC has only revealed one drama for their next line up...but it seems they're mixing up their schedules so we don't know when they'll premiere there Wed-Thurs drama.
I guess with the different time slot, jTBC is hoping for better ratings. Looking at the genre though I don't think it will be the change in ratings jTBC is looking for.
netflix has a contract with cj ent and their daughter company studio dragon which produces for tvn iirc. has any…
Yes JTBC almost always has one drama that goes to Netflix, and another that goes to iqiyi. But Lost is now confirmed to be a Sat/Sun weekend drama, and since Snowdrop is most likely a weekend drama it looks like we'll have to wait more lol.
I also feel like they might do less promotion on this to prevent controversy but we'll see
