Is that what happened?? So sad :( Was just checking in on him again since I LOVED him in Bride of Habaek and was…
Frankly, I don’t know what happened exactly, or who he might’ve angered (maybe?). All I know is he’s a very good actor who were just starting to get lead roles before enlistment and then became second lead again after he came back. He seems to have great friendships in the industry and be more active as a stage actor though, so maybe it’s deliberate from his side?
The most heartbreaking thing for me was watching and loving What’s Up where he’s ML and Jo Jung Suk is playing one of the secondary mains and then watching Oh My Ghost where the situation is reversed.
It started slow for me and I didn’t really get what everyone raved about. But once it picked up (around ep 3),…
The format with the sketches inside the drama that run parallell to the story was similar to Tiger & Dragon. Completely different kind of drama but highly recommended.
It started slow for me and I didn’t really get what everyone raved about. But once it picked up (around ep 3), it was an amazing ride. Loved all of the characters, the friendship, the questions raised, the tone. So good!
I agree with you, they both said hurting words in the past, though in the synopsis only states ML hurts FL with…
I understood it as “the sequel” being a change of perspective between the main couple but no idea where to find it. I kind of feel like that perspective change happened in this one midway so I don’t know what another ep of the same thing would add. Really confused.
I don’t know which version I watched but commenting here.
So short but somehow felt draggy. The story was pretty straightforward and could’ve been told in less screentime I felt. But won’t complain, more Itagaki Mizuki for us! :D
Didn’t understand why she would tell the other guy about their problem though, it was a private matter. Also, why was what ML said considered worse than what FL said. Both were hurting words.
Really loved this drama. It’s so warm and friendly. I’m planning to watch both of the recommended dramas but would love to learn of more dramas like this!
PROS and CONS of this drama: - I really wished they focused on Kahoko's journey on becoming financially independent.…
Lol at the +1 points for Grandpa’s personality glow up 😂😂.
I mainly agree with you. First I thought it’d be a romcom, then personal growth, but it ended up being a family drama? Like one of those really long multi-couple kdramas, minus the length?
Cute, wholesome drama about family and personal growth. If there’s a genre called famcom this drama belongs there.
Based on recs, synopsis and pics I thought this would be a romcom but the romantic love aspect is barely there. (LOVED that this is tagged Height Difference, because yowza! But they don’t really cash in on it sadly.)
The main couple is very sweet and compatible and their connection really brings out the best in each other but the drama’s main focus is FL’s growth as a person and her relationship with her family, which is fulfilling in itself.
What I really don’t get is how chaste the kissing is, especially compared to there being love making in like every episode. There was always a huge build up when they were getting closer and then... a peck lol. Don’t understand why they were so stingy with the kisses when they could afford that much sex.
Cute and breezy drama about the grumpy Beast and the cheery Beauty. Casting of all the parts were top notch and even side characters were loveable! The set up in the beginning was kind of stupid but it gets better later. I was only bored in the penultimate ep as it was a little been-there-done-that. I think this drama has one of the most subtly done ”we met when we were younger” plots ever.
ML’s mom is just so annoying and I don’t understand why everyone, even the older generation lets her behave like a spoiled brat. Very nice drama otherwise!
This drama managed to be a slice-of-life despite the odd plot. It was kind of boring, nothing much happened. But liked how they all became a big family with the neighbor kid and papa, the bro-in-law and ML’s colleagues. The FL is very cute and has the prettiest smiling manga eyes! Loved her hair and outfits in this!
It had a great start but ended at a low note for me. Their relationship never really took off and felt wishy washy, back and forth. The general concept and the main themes were interesting but how they dealt with them was long winded. Was so irritated by the last ep. All in all, a cute but stale drama about relationships, dreams and life goals.
Forever bitter that his career as main lead never really took off. He’s so versatile and engaging! His projects right before enlistment were good but What’s Up couldn’t find an airing slot and got cut down and since he returned he’s been relegated to second lead.
