Someone recommend me a show like this please 😭😭. I just finished it and I can’t move on
Have you found something yet? This one’s so unique, couldn’t really find anything like it. Hana Yori Dango is a classic so you’ve probably already seen it but the couple dynamics are really similar. Otherwise, nothing :(
Exactly. Considering that he was 19 he did a good job LOLBut it does explain why his onscreen wife looks somehow…
Lmao at the mental image of baby Miura being out there smoothly seducing same-aged ladies left and right, and talking about making babies all before the mature age of 15. I mean, I wouldn't put it past him XD
the communication in this drama !!!!! i love it so much.
While they were seriously good at resolving their problems by actually discussing them through, there were memes after it aired where it said "yeah, we're really good at communicating" with a picture of a bed who was titled "communicating". IDK it was hilarious at the time..
Came back to this comment section, remembering what a shitty drama this was. Scrolling through the comments, about to add my own when I came across my own comment from months ago where I wrote the same exact phrase that came to my mind: “What the (and I cannot stress this enough) fuck??”
I really want to watch this but am not in the mood for dread and angst. It is recommended together with Summer Strike and that was quite bright and positive despite the circumstances. How’s this one in that regard?
I keep coming back to this every few months. Has truly become my comfort drama slash guilty pleasure. It's so dumb and cute and fluffy and wholesome. I started rewatching it last night and kept feeling oddly happy the entire day today because of it. "Why am I happy again? Oh yes, Miura being the biggest tease and dorky loverboy towards Haruta-san, that's why!".
I loved this with all my heart and I was on ep 11 until I saw comments that he will get married to someone else…
Oh, that marriage isn’t like that at all! I hate unnecessary 3rd wheels but she is a whole person with her own aims and dreams and becomes a platonic friend to the main couple. Really wholesome.
He was a treat! What an awful person and full fledged villain. Would love to see more of him.
It’s so brainless and silly bwahahah! The DADDY though! He is so enigmatic! He has charisma and acting talent to cover for all of the rest :D. Too bad he too seems to be in 3rd tier supporting actor category :(

Oooh, would love him in those kind of roles you describe! Hope he gets recognized. I’m watching this https://kisskh.at/685283-the-legendary-life-of-queen-lau (it’s hilariously wacky) and am similarly impressed by Wang Dong playing the main ~villain~. Such foxy, charismatic screen presence! But their filmographies make me sad :(
More screentime together. They hardly meet in most episodes, the ML disappears for several eps, etc. It isn’t really a romance drama I guess but the promos here (poster, synopsis) made me think there’d be more focus on their relationship. Both are badass characters in their own right but there’s a dissonance in how it was promoted and how it plays out IMO.
Consistency 💅
Special shoutout to Kira’s daring and everchanging eyebrow experiments!
