And what is considered a date depends on the perspective. I consider going out for a meal with someone from the opposite sex that is not a family member/friend a date...from what I know of Japense culture, they would also consider it a date.

I will not try to question anything else you said because I watched it over 6 months ago and do not remeber much about it anymore so I cannot really discuss the plot or characters behaviours anymore.

Pretty good script and acting for a short drama. The last episode felt a bit open, like that was not really the end but overall it was a good short drama.

Same here. I keep telling myself I will wait for a few more episodes to be out before watching but when I see a new episode is out I cannot resist watching it right away. ^^'

Can relate. The only reason I will be able to pull it off (hopefully) is because this will be a busy weekend. I have to plan and prepare meals and will eat with other people. Usually this is the drama I watch while I'm having lunch by myself.

Yup. It would be similar to acid, probably slower which would mean an even more painful death. To even come up with the idea of putting a 2 year old child through that is just evil. No wonder the other girl is so evil, she is just like her mother.

Good to know. I guess I will wait for a few more episodes to air before I go back to watching. Ep 16 ended on a good note, I do not want to suffer waiting for the next episode like I did after watching ep 14, 15 and some earlier episodes that ended on cliffhangers.

Ikr? All major secrets and conflicts dealt with in 1 episode. I can now be at peace with waiting for the next episode. The wait for episode 16 after watching episode 15 was pure torture.

Yeah. After episode 16 I am at peace. Having to wait a day between ep 15 and 16 was pure torture tho.

I think it is intentional. That is the kind of character Achou is supposed to be.

Remember even the ML said he could not read her at all, could not tell when she was being sincere or acting. And we are talking about someone very perceptive, who could tell the FL look alike was evil the first time he met her. He is a general who has dealt with all kinds of enemies and deceptions and even he feels like he cannot really tell what kind of person the FL is.

Achou has been through a lot since she was a child and being so intelligent she thinks wearing a mask is her only way to survive in a world that keeps trying to destroy her.

I think her real self is the girly girl that is good at managing household stuff and people. She does and says some things to look good but it is not all pretense, she does care about people and is compassionate. The evil (she is only evil to bad people, people who try to hurt her first so I am not sure evil is the right word), manipulative and seductive parts of her are all part of a mask she wears to protect herself.

I think the name of the drama makes a lot of sense, maybe even she has a hard time telling "where the mask ends" and the real Achou begins.

When episode 15 ended I was like NOOOOO, I need to know what happens next.

Probably because MDL schedule is counting on 2 episodes per day and this week it is only 1 episode per day, which is why MDL is 2 episodes off.

We are at the half way point and all the big secrets have already come out and most conflicts have been solved...I am a bit scared of what is to come, either they give us a lot of romance and focus on their relationship development or there are still a lot of problems heading their way.

I know exactly what I watched. Victims can also make other people victims. No matter what she was going through it was selfish of her to keep seeing a guy she had no interest in.

And if you have a colleague sharing her feelings about a guy she likes who you also happen to be stringing along, you should not be all giggles and be like "yeah, he is single, go ahead". Imagine that colleague is you and you find out what she has been doing behind everyone else's back, would you still think, oh, she is just a victim of the situation.

For me, both main leads were selfish and people I would not want to be around.

P.S. - You said she did not give hope to the other guy, sorry, but if you keep going on dates with someone you know is interested in you...that is exactly what giving hope to someone is.

Started well but eventually it became more about the husband and his secrets than the FL and her journey. I wanted to see her getting divorced way earlier and rebuilding her life but instead she almost became a supporting character near the end.

The drama as a whole just did not feel satisfying to watch. It was not completely bad or I would not have finished it but personally I did not see what was so good about it that it deserved a high rating. This is my take as you asked.

Not worth it. This is basically 28 episodes of the FL planning to divorce her husband while we keep discovering his dirty little secrets. By the end the FL even feels like a supporting character.

Unless you really have nothing else to watch, then go ahead and watch this.

Still, I have seen cousins born from twins that look like sisters, but not identical, idk if that is even possible. ^^'

The female lead is smart and manipulative, she is kind of a gray character. If the FL was the other girl we would never get a happy ending and even if we did a lot of people would be angry because she would not have deserved it.

But I do agree with the doppleganger thing being disappointing. It would make a lot more sense for them to be twins and the villains telling the FL was dead at childbirth for some reason and she was secretly saved by some servant. What are the chances of cousins looking exactly alike, they do not even have the same father.

To only release episode 15 today is pure torture for the viewers. ^^'

No. I waited about 2 months and eventually dropped it at episode 20, which is a shame. I hate leaving things unfinished.
