Or there is no culprit. The FL could be a "siren" and have made all those men willingly die for her. Maybe…
The chairwoman is definitely not one of the good guys, she might be involved with the people the FL father owed money to or even be the one he owed money to. She gives that gangster boss vibes.

Jun Beom is either her first boyfriend that actually survived and got plastic surgery...which would explain him knowing her so well, being jealous of the boyfriends she got after him or he is at least in some way related to him. He definitely has some sort of motive. I am still trying to figure out if he is possessive of her or if he hates her and wants her to be unhappy and also go down for all the murders. (His smile when she got arrested was weird)

There's been a lot of them lately and all aired at the same time. 😅 Sign of a generational shift in domestic…
I think so too. There are many teenagers and women in their 20s watching dramas but from what I have seen on social media and even with people I am close to is that older women, even grandmas, are starting to catch the Asian fever.

I started watching dramas as a teenager (back in 2010) coming from me watching anime and reading manga since I was a kid (a natural progression for most of us) but now I am on my 30s and I mostly watch dramas, mainly Korean and Chinese. A few years ago I re-watched one with my mother (who is now 62) and since then she keeps asking for new dramas to watch. ^^'

She is currently crazy about Pursuit of Jade (so am I).

For anyone wondering, the first 4 episodes are out.

There have been so many 70s and 90s dramas lately. I prefer the 90s ones since I was born in 94, so they are more relatable to me.

I guess they realised the biggest chunk of drama watchers are "older" women and are trying to make stuff nostalgic for us to keep us interested. ^^'

Title Hot Gimmick
This is one of the worst movies I ever watched, if I can even say I watched it because it feels like I diddn't.

The filming and editing feels like a kid who got his first ever camera is trying to do something he thinks is cool with all the moving around, cuts and stuff. The way this was filmed and edited alone is already bad but also the plot is a bunch of loose threads that are barely even tied together.

This has no substance, it is just a bunch of random scenes messily edited into one movie. It felt like watching an extended trailer (a bad one) or an edit of highlights of a series that you never watched so you lack the context to understand what is going on, who the characters on screen are and why they are saying or doing whatever they are saying or doing.

Idk how this was even approved by other people and even got to a streaming platform like Netflix (not that Netflix is any good but it is the biggest streaming platform). Everyone was either high on something or getting paid to look the other way. There is no way anyone else other than the people involved in creating this would think this is good.

True. It is very rare for the FL or ML to be the killer (has happened before but rare). But with so many sirens symbolism I think it is definitely possible. I mean, even the name of the drama hints at her being the killer. These could all be to keep us confused but I am not against the idea of her being the killer or a master manipulator who gets people to kill or die for her. It would make the drama more memorable.

I mean, there is so much sirens symbolism from the name of the drama to the brand of the wine bottles. These could be hints or red herrings, one of the two. ^^'

I think the ML folded a bit too quickly to my liking lol If you think about it- FL is mourning her fiancés passing…
I agree but it would be a genius move by the writers if it turns out the FL is a "siren" and manipulates men easily. Then him believing and falling for her so quickly would make a lot of sense.

I feel The culprits are literally one of the three, the chairman of the auction house, JunBeom or Eun Hyunk
Or there is no culprit. The FL could be a "siren" and have made all those men willingly die for her. Maybe the woman was the only one who made her get her hands dirty. At this point anything is possible. ^^'

Title Siren’s Kiss Spoiler
Okay, here’s the thing. i cannot with Cha Woo-seok. The man investigates like he’s late for a train, kicking…
Your observations made me laugh. So relatable.

I honestly think she is NOT the killer but if she is, it is a genius move by the writers to make her this confusing to us because maybe that is exactly what she wants. I mean, a guy that on the first episode was so bent on her being the culprit is now professing her innocence like she is the best human being on Earth.

At this point I would not be surprised if all those guys actually comitted suicide for her, just like her parents. Maybe that is why there is so many siren related stuff, even the name of the drama. The FL is a siren that manipulates men into giving up even their own lives for her.

The friend, the CEO dude, the Royal Auction owner, any of them could be the culprit or just another person she manipulates. I like how we know so much already about her past and yet know nothing about her. ^^'

Thank you for this cause I typed it in the search bar and found nothing. I thought I was seriously going crazy…
When that happens you can submit a form with the drama info or even better, send it to their discord (seems like they check submissions faster this way). I have done it several times for dramas I could not find.

In these past few episode, the writers has been clear by showing us both Xie Zheng and Chang Yu's fears. They're…
These flaws are what make their characters so good. They feel real. And the actors are doing a really good job at portraying their respective characters.

I can completely understand both sides and why they do what they do tho I do feel like although what the FL did was more serious (it could have gone very wrong) she did it because she did not know his real identity.

The ML on the other hand knows it is only a matter of time until she finds out the truth and it would have been better if he had told her earlier, specially after the food trade situation. But instead he put together a whole show to keep fooling her which resulted in her doing something even more reckless, something that could have cost her life and that fight.

So at the end of the day, the ML cannot even blame her. While she definitely has the right to be mad at him for a while if she wants to. Not too long tho, 1 episode is enough. ^^'

I have to give Xi Wei all the credit here, the way she portrayed Chang yu’s disbelief and sense of betrayal…
Both leads are doing a great job. The plot is really good and the actors are bringing their characters to life. I have felt all sorts of emotions while watching and this can only be achieved with good writing and acting. The editing, music and other elements also add to the overall quality of the drama.

***********************************PSA***********************************From CY's perspective *she is the head…
Her actions to me were consistent with her character. YZ should have known the risks of hiding the truth from her. He knows how reckless she can be in order to protect other people, even risking her own life and making rash decisions. Good thing she is so badass otherwise she would have died and taken a bunch of people with her.

I also expect her to be really mad at him and he at this point cannot even blame her for what she did, even tho it was extremely reckless.

From her POV he was just a regular foot soldier that she could easily take the place of in that fight. Had she known his real identity she would have never done that, she would have probably followed behind but would not have stopped him from going.
On Pursuit of Jade Mar 18, 2026
The ML knows how reckless the FL can be and he still did not come clean when he had so many chances to do it. What happened in episode 26 went well just because the FL is really badass but it could have turned out a complete disaster with a lot of preventable deaths happening.

Well, good luck with that. Although it is a drama with high ratings, I also had a hard time finishing it. The plot and romance were not really my cup of tea.

Before Pursuit of Jade started airing, this one was my go to drama that I would watch while having lunch. When I started watching PJ, I realised how much better it was and put this one on the side until all episodes aired. Once I had no more new episodes of PJ to watch, I came back to finish this one.

Yes. He was at least better than his uncle. He did redeem himself later on but for most of the drama he was a walking red-flag, a good looking one I must admit.

That explains a lot. I was so invested in the drama up to episode 20 something but near the end I was questioning a lot. In the last few episodes there were many scenes where I felt the actors were not doing a good job at portraying their characters, like not even they themselves believed in what they were saying and doing.
