I had this on my plan to watch list for a long time, trying to decide if I would watch it or not. I am not a big fan of remakes, unless they happen many years later when the video and sound quality of the original is not up to the standards anymore, so at least 10 years later.
While trying to decide I thought, I could just go and watch the original again, plus I do not like the pairing they did here because I personally cannot see any chemistry between the leads. I like them both but not together.
Anyway, I ended up deciding not to watch it after all.
I am not really into political dramas, but I saw so many comments praising the drama and saying how cute the main couple is that now I have to at least give it a try.
Yup. I am pretty sure he is going to be the one to cause their break up. He is not mature enough.
I think you might have tagged me by mistake. I have not read the novel so I cannot answer your question. But my experience tells me there will be one for sure in the drama.
I think this time you were the one to save me from wasting my time. I came across a video about this drama and…
OMG, that is a whole other level of craziness. I have watched hundreds of dramas and have seen some pretty crazy second female leads, but this one gets the award for the craziest of them all. LOL

Now I am curious. What ridiculous thing did she do? I want spoilers. XD You dont need to explain with a lot of detail if you dont want to, but now I need to know what she did. LOL
Although not completely bad, I would say this drama’s biggest fault is that it is way too predictable. I mean, who of us did not guess who the father was from the beginning? And didnt we all kind of knew what her reason for leaving was? You can guess it just by looking at the poster for this drama.
Really, if it was not for Ha Ni and Dong Chan, there was pretty much nothing worth watching. The adults are so boring that the kids are the ones carrying the drama. XD
That said, I will wait for next week to finish a drama that I neither loved nor hated. It is just another drama to be set as completed.

Phew, seems like I dodged a bullet. I saw a video on youtube and basically some girl, which I assume is the second female lead, appears in their house and then ends up in the hospital and they find out she is pregnant and for some reason the female lead thinks the ML is the father,.... That video alone was a mess and super cliché, so I can only imagine what watching the entire drama would feel like. Yikes
It sucks that you wasted your time on this, but thank you for letting me not waste mine. :)
I really should have listed to all the below comments. It is as horrible as it is stated. My gosh. Who wrote this,…
I think this time you were the one to save me from wasting my time. I came across a video about this drama and the title sounded familiar so I decided to check if I had it added to my dropped/not interested list. I added it to not interested for a reason but sometimes I do give a try to dramas I originally added to that list if it somehow manages to catch my interest later on. But after reading your comment and knowing how negatively you feel about this drama, I know I will probably hate it so I might as well leave it buried in my not interested list.
Man I'm so heartbroken that Jiwon heard him say he didn't love her but truly I believe he does. That's why he's…
He said no because he does not understand what love is or how it works. He definitely loves her, just as he loves his sister and his daughter. The proof of that is how protective he is of all of them, how he tries so hard to make them happy even when he does not understand their feelings and how he so badly wants to protect his secret so it wont ruin their family. Every time he feels his wife is close to finding the truth (poor him has no idea she already knows) his chest hurts and he panics because he does not want to lose her or his safe haven. That is love, he just does not know it yet. His disorder does not make him unable to feel, it makes him unable to understand feelings and emotions, which does not mean he cannot feel fear, sadness, anger, and so on. That being said, he is able to love but not able to identify it as that.

I am pretty sure that is what it will happen. She will think enough is enough and go overseas somewhere and then after arriving she finds out she is pregnant and decides to raise the kid by herself.
And then at some point she either comes back to Thailand with her kid who is now somewhere between 5-10 years old or the male lead finds where she is and follows her there and tries to win her back.
There is also a chance that after all that time the male lead is still an idiot and instead of trying to win her back he might try to get custody of their kid.
This drama is not completely bad, but like other people have said, it lacks consistency. If you start with this idea of a VR game where the one playing is the male lead, why is it that the story is not shown from his perspective????
It would be ok to once in a while show a few scenes from other character’s perspectives just so they can get introduced to the story and we can have a few more details. BUT the story should be told from the male lead’s perspective and we should only be able to get new information as the male lead gets to know it.
Also, he is not even playing any game. It is like the whole VR idea was dropped and we are being shown his memories instead. The story is being told like any other high school drama that shows both the past and present of the characters. I really dont see the point of including the VR game plot line if it is serving no purpose.

And he knows better than anyone how much she suffered because her mother abandoned her and that she has no idea who her mother is. She is clearly innocent in all this but she is the one paying the bill for his baseless hatred.
I hope it does not take the entire drama for him to find out his mother is not as good as she is making herself be and his father instead is the one who genuinely cares about him. Dumb as he is, his father will probably die before that happens and he will never have the chance to make up with him. Sigh
I can think of at least 5 dramas I have already watched that have this kind of plot. XD Oh well, I guess when I have nothing else to watch I might give this one a try.
Lol if you make the lead half korean, at least make him look a bit korean. also, the mom speaks thai to him alone…
Why would his mother speak Korean with him if she is Thai and has lived in Thailand her entire life? He moved to Korea with his father after they divorced, but before that they were living in Thailand. Since his mother stayed there and his father moved to Korea, it is safe to assume his half-korean descent comes from his father, not his mother. Maybe I missed something.
And in terms of looks, I have been watching Korean dramas for a decade and he definitely has some Korean features, although as far as I know the actor is fully Thai.
I can feel the heart ache coming really soon. I mean, we are warned about it in the intro and outro mvs. She is with a grown kid and he is nowhere to be seen so it is pretty obvious something is going to happen to break them apart. After episode 10 I can see what might cause that or at least one of the reasons it will happen. It would help if the male lead was more humble and less stubborn. The female lead is way more mature and forgiving. Honestly, she is too good for him. Sigh
Parin is a complete jerk. Or at least he was. Remember when he went to meet Mitra at her offices. He told her…
True. But I think he fell for her before that. His biggest mistake was trusting the words of a stranger instead of using his own judgement. He knew she was different which is why he could not keep his eyes off her the whole time, but then because of the words of a random woman, suddenly his brain cells died and he became an idiot. Sigh Hopefully his mother comes to Thailand and slaps some sense into him. Imagine how ashamed he will be when his mother finds out what her wonderful son did. I think he really needs to see her disappointed face to realize how much he messed up.

I dont think that was relevant. She wanted to hurt the female lead because she was jealous of her, and for it to look convincing, that her "friend" was a prostitute, she accepted his money. We are shown that scene where she is talking with someone just so there is a pretext for her to be there and the male spotting her and confronting her about what happened. She works as an actress so it could be someone interested in casting her or something or someone who she knew so they sat and talked for a bit.
But since this is a thai drama, you never know. You might end up being right about that. XD
