All the victims in episode 1-5 were chasing a truck that had multiple dogs in it. The same truck was used again because the driver commited su**ide later after the incident, and lead the killer to take revenge.
Xiwu dies to give Tantai Jin her essence to save his life in episodes between 28-29. Tantai Jin is mourning to the point that he buries himself with her to stay at her side. His bodyguard and Xiwu's brother had to break her coffin to get him out
Luo Fei goes to Ling Ping's mother's grave in episode 6. It is mentioned that Luo Fei goes every year on the anniversary of her death. We don't have a full story of why he does as of typing this since it is still airing.
